Thanks, Todd -- high praise considering the poor little guy is suffocating... =) ...I wasn't sure of the extended dealine, and was in a bit of a hurry to get the pictures in and the site listed. -- Richard (he of few white airtanks) (24 years ago, 6-Dec-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

If you liked it, Tony -- my job here is done. I have your model in grey right here on the desk next to my all white, and now all black, versions of my own design. A modified version of the black one will undoubtedly make it into Castle Blacktron. (...) (24 years ago, 6-Dec-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

  Re: Colditz???

I did see these and he did an excellant job. As a matter of fact I had just watched the movie "The Colditz Story" a few days ago. For those who want to know, Colditz Castle was a German Jail for POWs who had escaped from other camps. It had the (...)   Colditz???

Maybe this is old news. But I did a scan for Colditz last nite and didn't find any hits. Could be sloppy searching. I tend to look at "recent" stuff on brickshelf and sometimes I find stuff that seems recent but actually isn't, just something in the (...) WOW! That's an awesome model! I found it coool when I first saw it, and when I saw the interior and the scientific equipment in the lab, I found it even more cool. Now, when the hatch was opened and the rovers came out... Great work! --Tobias (24 years ago, 5-Dec-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

  Re: Classic Contest Entries

(...) Aw, now ain't that just cute! And thanks for the nod. Overall, I'm very impressed the models that have been entered. There's a ton of playability packed into many of these.   RE: 5 wide sports car

(...) Thanks! (...) Heh. I have built an 8-wide Cadillac with a V-8[1]. And I have built an approximately 5x10 van/truck that was motorized with a 9V geared motor and micromotor. Hopefully, I'l have time to do a nicer looking 6-wide or 8-wide (...) (24 years ago, 5-Dec-00, to lugnet.build)

Scientists are currently experimenting with the theory that antispamcake may be formed in a Tupperware container in the back of the fridge. This would account for the green coloration. Stay Tuned... ~Mark "Muffin Head" Sandlin (24 years ago, 5-Dec-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Re: 5 wide sports car

Hi Bram, I really like these red sport cars!! But how to fit in the V 12 motor from the technic-series ;-)) Going 5-wide in cars opens similar possibilities like 8-wide building in trains. And how many red 1x2 plates with centerd stud were used in (...) (24 years ago, 5-Dec-00, to lugnet.build)
