Heh. I have built an 8-wide Cadillac with a V-8[1]. And I have built an
approximately 5x10 van/truck that was motorized with a 9V geared motor and
micromotor. Hopefully, I'l have time to do a nicer looking 6-wide or 8-wide
motorized car soon.

Hey, I love details. I haven't built any trains, but both my trucks have
8-wide trailers.

A few more than necessary, probably. My count from the finished model is 24
red, 5 black. Between this and the the Ferrari, I'm out of red 1x2 plates
with centerd stud and red 1x2 tiles...

The original is white, not pink. This used a fair number of center stud
plates as well. I never have enough!
