  Re: Catalog of female minifigs?

<snip...or should I say Znap?> Okay, now that you've done plenty of work already, it's time for you to further drive yourself insane by telling us the 5 cheapest currently available sets containing inarguably female minifigs, sorted by hair color (...)   Re: Mecha 02 Closeups

It's a masterpiece that everyone will remember, I'm sure. How did you go about making the body non-studs-up? ~Mark "Muffin Head" Sandlin (24 years ago, 20-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Mark's Lego Creations - Now with 30% Less Fat!

(...) It took me about a total of 7 hours to build. I started working on it at about midnight, and worked until 5am (you know how time can get away from ya) and then I got up the next morning and worked on it another couple hours. ~Mark "Muffin (...) (...) It's around 22" tall and 14" long. One of the pictures "scale comparison" has 5 Pepsi cans next to it if that helps. I'm quite a Pepsi drinker... (...) Thanks. I actually built the whole mecha around the hands and head. Bryce (24 years ago, 20-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mecha 02 Closeups

(...) Iron Kong was the only one I ever bought!!! That thing ruled! And hail to Baron Karza! Although the white guy (name?) had a better face. I've been thinking of trying to build a mecha that attached like the Baron... Bryce (24 years ago, 20-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Well, the shoulder is those techinc flex joints from the arms of the divers sets, the arms inside the space shuttles, etc...; and the elbows are these too, but for the very first pic (the one labled "pose") I used some seran(sp?) wrap to get (...)   Re: Mecha 02 Closeups

To quote a certian South Park character: "Dude! That kicks a**!" Seriously, that *is* the best mech I have ever seen. Friggin' scary... All of those pointy things going everywhere. An awesome psychological weapon.. How tall is it? It looks to be at (...) (24 years ago, 20-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Mecha 02 Closeups

I just posted a bunch of closeups and such of the "02" mecha or "Dark Marauder" as Dave Johann named it at our last LugoLA meeting. (URL) (24 years ago, 20-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build)

A not so quick word of thanks

At the risk of sounding like a windbag I’d like to take a few seconds to thank (in no particular order) a bunch of people who inspire me to build mecha. I didn’t thank anyone when I posted for “02” because I was doing the dramatic story thing. I’d (...) (24 years ago, 20-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Mark's Lego Creations - Now with 30% Less Fat!

(...) Excellent ship, Mark. It has a very Star Wars feel to it. Maybe just the pieces you used... Like everyone else I like the way the back rotates. How long did it take you to build? Thanks for sharing. Now it's off to Brickshelf for some (...) (24 years ago, 19-Nov-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

  Re: A-wing fighter

Very nice, Jay. I think you've made an A-Wing that follows the LEGO design in size, yet you've achieved a better shape and curve than the LEGO model. Good job! ~Mark "Muffin Head" Sandlin (24 years ago, 19-Nov-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build)
