Re: New Imperial Landing Shuttle MOC

(...) Thanks, I'm realtively pleased with how it turned out. As I mentioned on the page, I think the cockpit could stand to be a bit smaller, but I am fairly pleased with how it turned out. I may see if I can tile over the cockpit area (If I can (...) (24 years ago, 6-Nov-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)

Re: New Imperial Landing Shuttle MOC

(...) That's a very impressive Imperial Shuttle, quite detailed. I mostly like how you didn't use any sloped pieces on the top of the cockpit, but rather used plates instead... very well done. I also surfed around your site a little bit, I was also (...) (24 years ago, 6-Nov-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Building is slow

I haven't built a MOC in almost a year for just that reason - I've reached the point that I simply have too much Lego unsorted in order to find the piece I need. If it's not in my sorted drawers right now, forget it, it will take hours to find if I (...) (24 years ago, 6-Nov-00, to lugnet.build)

  New Imperial Landing Shuttle MOC

Well, I've been working on this on and off for a coupel of months now and I finally finished it up two weeks ago... Just as I saw the new 2001 Imperial Shuttle set! Well, there is some resembelance, but I did finish mine before I ever saw the 2001 (...) (24 years ago, 6-Nov-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)

  4 x 12 tan plates

Does anyone know what sets currently available in the US contain 4 x 12 tan plates? Thanks, Amy (24 years ago, 5-Nov-00, to lugnet.build)

This has to be one of the best lego creations i have seen yet, keep up the good work you give us all inspiration. Well Done. Craig (24 years ago, 5-Nov-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

  Building is slow

Actually, meticulous building when you have too many pieces, is slow. Tonight I had to hunt for that baggie of dk.gray plates, and lost a bunch of time. I've never used dark gray but I got an itch for it. Then it was another lost baggie, really a (...) (24 years ago, 5-Nov-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Curvy Baroque Church

Thanks for the compliments. I tried to ensure that it is really possible to "mount" the parts in real life, but this does not mean that all the parts actually will interlock. You are exactly correct, in that there are a few pieces that would be (...) (24 years ago, 5-Nov-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)
