Thanks for the compliments.

I tried to ensure that it is really possible to "mount" the parts in real
life, but this does not mean that all the parts actually will interlock.
You are exactly correct, in that there are a few pieces that would be merely
"sitting" in the correct position.  I had postulated putting a 2 stud beam
in between the two bricks facing each other, but I think that it is slightly
too long.

I have been reasonably successful with having small portions of real models
not interlock.  For instance, on my Aquazone church, the roof pieces are
merely sitting in the right position

would scoff at such non-interlocking architecture, but sometimes there is no
good way to properly connect things.

Brad,

Great design, I add my enthusiasm to that of all the others.  Once again • you
have shown through the eloquence of design why the current state of Lego
Direct bulk ordering is so woefully inadequate.

On your web page you state, "Many of the parts on this building are • mounted
upside down or vertically.  I tried to ensure that it was really possible • to
mount the parts as shown." What exactly does this mean?  I feel sure that
some of the elements will not in fact interlock as per your design.  Do • you
mean merely that the elements can be "stacked" as shown, or what?

As a simple example, you place two arched windows atop one another with • one
arched window in an inverted position, which is to say in a top stud • facing
down position.  In what manner are these bricks interlocked?

Tyco and now Mega Bloks have a solution for inverting elements, but TLC • has
never had one to my knowledge.
