  Re: Attaching a chain...

(...) Hi Robert, saw your note and experimented a bit . What I found worked fairly well was to use two cam pieces, one 8 tooth(small) gear and one 16 tooth( next size up gear) one gear at each end of the cam. this gives you an assembly that is only (...) (26 years ago, 23-Feb-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) the (...) I like it! To me, it looks sort of like an insect, a kind of beetle. <IMO> For names, unless I have a very specific design in mind, I almost always build first and name later. For sleek ships, I use letters and numbers that go well (...) (26 years ago, 23-Feb-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: inspiration (was Re: Microfig-scale Thunderbolt II)

(...) Great! You want to do a Hawker Harrier? Actually, that one would be better at mini-fig scale than microfig. Is there a scale-name for "Technic models done at mini-fig scale"? Steve (26 years ago, 22-Feb-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.cad)

Re: inspiration (was Re: Microfig-scale Thunderbolt II)

(...) Battletech was, IIRC, originally an RPG. It's currently also a cartoon, a collectable card game, a PC game, and probably some others that I've missed.
