does anyone have some information about legos set numbering scheme...
i can discern the folowing...
0xxx for really old sets
1xxx for mostly value packs etc
2xxx for duplo and shell etc sets
3xxx for fabuland? and the soccer stadium
4xxx for some boats and the 9v trains
5xxx for spare parts
60xx for castle sets
6xxx for most of the sets
7xxx for 4.5v and 12v trains
8xxx for technic
9xxx for mindstorms and dacta

Aren't most of the space sets 8000 series as well? (Except of course the originals, say 924, etc. :) ) Scott Sanburn (...) (26 years ago, 22-Feb-99, to lugnet.build)
