Jennifer, I was involved in crane load-moment indicators way back when, and was further impressed after I read the content on your site carefully. I've been getting too quick in building lego projects. For the $, I'd like the building time to last longer...an idea I've been using on the UCS Star Wars models and others is to not obey the instruction books--but instead, build from front to back, (...) (24 years ago, 13-Sep-00, to lugnet.build)

(...) Ummm, are you married? Just kidding :-) These are really wonderful models that capture the feeling of what they are modelling. I've found that the recent Technic models do not "feel" right. (...) I do have two copies of that set that I got for cheap at Zany Brainy. The rest of the big panels came from various space sets (including 2 of Exploriens 6958). I have since acquired a few more of these panel pieces from a parts sale site for a (...) (24 years ago, 13-Sep-00, to lugnet.build)
