(...) My knowledge is limited, but I think it comes down to cost/benefit: digging is an expensive process. On the Moon, the benefits of minimizing the temperature swings are huge, and the costs of energy should be a lot lower (either boosting up a (...) Building legs which mimic human legs leaves an empty space in there and I'd rather make use of that space than waste it simply because of the humor stage many children seem to get (...) Why which cannon do you mean... ;-) Seriously though, if you mean the "groin" mounted artillery cannons, well than, ha ha ha... I really wish people realize that it is a mecha not a human. BTW I put "groin" mounter cannons on my LZ-70 and LZ-140 (...) (24 years ago, 29-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Nasty looking (... not the quality <grin>) Quick note on Hi-8: I have Hi-8(sony) too and have found that even in day light (as these look to be) turn on as many other lights AYC.
