Re: My lego dream -cool creations!

(...) Yeah, you're right! I just tried to build it, guess what -it looked really stupid :-) But I only placed it inside a completed house, I didn't build a new one. I think that the shelf makes best in a kitchen, and none of my houses have a (...) (24 years ago, 27-Aug-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Re: My lego dream -cool creations!

(...) Hehe... but it was in *your* unconscious, your dream, *your* ideas... (...) Not neccessarily... if you use trans. cylinders, the have hollow tops, and they can fit under stud-bottoms of a 1*N plate (and 1*N bricks as well). -Shiri (24 years ago, 27-Aug-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Re: My lego dream -cool creations!

I'm remembering more, now... I think that the shelf was attached to first a 1*6 white brick, which was "hanging" from the ceiling. That way, the shelf wasn't so high, so the minifigs could easily put things on it. Or maybe it didn't, I'm not sure... (...) (24 years ago, 27-Aug-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Re: My lego dream -cool creations!

(...) Wow, ya, Great idea! BTW, I'm not sure you realize just how clever your dreamed-up design really is! Did you know that you can connect the tops of those wine glasses to the bottoms of plates directly *without* the need for 1x1 round plates? (...)   Re: COLOSSUS

I like Heavy Gear, because it has very utilitarian designs, like real military vehicles and mecha will look like in the "near future". Of course, the same can be said for Gundam, but they are more like what military vehicles and mecha will look like (...) (24 years ago, 26-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: COLOSSUS

(...) I seem to have lots of white bricks, owing mostly to Classic Space of the 80's and a fre of the 1200 pc tubs. I am really lacking in white plates. I very nearly exhausted my supply with Colossus. (...) Thanks. :^) (...) Well you kinda have to (...) (24 years ago, 26-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: COLOSSUS

Well an awesome model deserves an awesome reponse, IMHO! ;-) When I said nice colour sceme, I meant it was excellent how you followed the real Gundam colour sceme. Plus, I'm amazed when anyone makes something out of so much white, since I could (...) (24 years ago, 26-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: COLOSSUS

(...) Gosh, thanks Mladen. Really, I just combined the look of two of my favorite Gundams: Tallgeese and DoubleX. I was trying to capture the knee-look of Tallgeese, but I wasn't quite able to do it because I don't have enough white plates. :^/ I (...) (24 years ago, 26-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: COLOSSUS

WOW! Without a doubt this is one of the best mecha I have ever seen, Mark. Simply fantastic! The legs are IMO the best, best Gundam legs I have ever, ever seen. Your use of parts is extraordinary. The weapons are beautiful as well, and I love the (...) (24 years ago, 26-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  MOC: Futuron "Mosquito"

Okay, I know there are a lot of spaceships out there named "Mosquito". But the name kinda fitted the ship, so... There's no webpage yet, only pictures, I hope you'll like them!   Re: COLOSSUS

Well, heck, I think we should all thank Colin Gutierrez for the finger design. I got the idea from him. :^) You gotta buy something like one of the Arctic sets to get those li'l snake-things. Then just pull them apart to the desired length and you (...) (24 years ago, 26-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: COLOSSUS

(...) That is spectacular!! I think(and I maybe wrong), but I think that's the largest mecha I've seen built in real bricks. I just love the size of it. That chain of ammo is very nice and the knee joints are just beautiful. My favorite part are the (...) (24 years ago, 26-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
