  Re: Micro-Fig Fuchikoma

Ummm... It's just from one of the best and most popular manga, _Ghost in the Shell_. I even posted and xcompare.jpg on brickshelf so people could compare it without reading the manga... Thanks anyway! (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Micro-Fig Fuchikoma

Thanks Jon! After I saw your Fuchikoma, I said hey, why don't I build a micro-fig one. A shrine? Sure. Mini-fig Fuchikoma? Already thinging about it! Can't wait to see your's! (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: non-Lego elements

(...) It's made by LEGO, it's designed to work with 'normal' LEGO bricks. I see absolutely no problem with using Znap and considering it 'pure LEGO'... When I first saw Technic sets I didn't like them, because I didn't think they were 'real LEGO'. (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

Re: Oh no, not another Spider Mech...

(...) Well, since somebody mentioned that the Kobold looked "organic", I figured it's only fair. Besides, I like the organic look more than the block style that many mecha sport. As for the 8 legged design, I already have created 2 four-legged (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

RE: Oh no, not another Spider Mech...

(...) born (...) Interesting. I prefer non-biped Mechs to be quadropeds only, but an octoped is interesting anyway. You also made it an arachnomorphic design. Cool! (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Micro-Fig Fuchikoma

Well holyyyyyy smokes thats cool. I go out drinkin and look whats waitin for me when I get back. I have GOTTA build this thing. And I'll have all my pictures of the technic scale one soon.   Re: New creation

(...) That is amazingly cool! I love the Command and Control vehicle with all the armor. And the Anti-aircraft one is really neat looking as well. Reminds me of the SAM missile launchers. I'd love to see some shots of the interior cockpits and their (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: LEGO rocket powered plane!

'APL' sounds good to me. And Goddard started somewhere... We've done ground, we've done horizontal air (with help), what's next? Only one way to go... Hey, how about propulsion for your Diner? 'Tilt' Randy -- Randy Anchikoski randy@viclug.tzo.com (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.build)

Oh no, not another Spider Mech...

Yeah, another spider mech. My Kobold needed an adversary, and thus, was born the Black Widow. Check it out on the mecha page at: www.brickfrenzy.com Adrian (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

non-Lego elements (was: Re: World Record LEGO Bridge)

(...) Why does the Znap qualify? Please check all that apply: (1) Because it was sold under the Lego name. (2) Because it has holes that Technic pins fit in. (3) Some other reasons (please state). Things to think about: * If TLC bought Knex, would (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

  Re: World Record LEGO Bridge

(...) I don't know what if any record there is, but I'm going to try to set/break it in one month at our show here in Edmonton. I read about a 30" (one table) span at a PNLTC show, and Tim Courtney's sounds like it would be about a two table span. (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

  Re: World Record LEGO Bridge

(...) work that I don't (yet) have the budget to challange. I wrestle with the use of string as a non-LEGO element, (the Znap qualifies) but suspension bridges allow for much greater span lengths. One might even say they have an unfair advantage for (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

  Re: LEGO rocket powered plane!
