| thanks for the comments yes, what you described is correct. the blades of the worm gear are angled acutely enough so that the up/down movement of the legs is not affected by the back/forth. with just one motor, you cant have too many axes of (...) (24 years ago, 12-Aug-00, to lugnet.build)

| Update on the rover: The rear end is complete, including the articulating section which is driven by a micromotor. I tested it by adding a couple big wheels to the front, and as long as the vehicle is moving forward, it turns quite nicely, thanks to (...) (24 years ago, 12-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build)
