Hi everyone, I have a question. I just got done watching Aliens tonight and i was thinking to myself, "Has anyone made any aliens figures out of lego?" I think it would be really cool if they made marines and the aliens. Does anyone have a site or (...) (24 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.build)
 
  Wooden guard barracks
 
I've finally built the first part of my castle complex! I started simple with a wooden castle guard barracks. It is up against the exterior curtain wall (well, its against a fake piece of the curtain wall). I've also redone my Lego pages, getting (...)   MOC: Kennedy Space Center Crawler/Transporter
 
I'd like to announce the completion of my latest LEGO construction: A working model of the Kennedy Space Center's Crawler/Transporter. The KSC Crawler/Transporters have treaded "crawlers" that support an automatically leveled platform on which the (...) As Shiri says, 6097 is the perfect choice for castle parts these days. It is cheap, easily available, and has a wide range of parts. It was on sale a while back at kbkids.com for only $25! The downside of this is that nearly every LUGNET'er has a (...) (24 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)

I don't know for sure, but I'd bet on: -grey brick packs -a 6097 (or two or three, or eighteen) on clearance from kbkids.com Any number of 6097s will supply you with the cool arched windows, as well as grey arches; also I think it has a few (...) (...) They are not really that hard to do. So I would say there is no need for to buy them off ebay. It does cost alittle to buy supplies at first. Wow, These look even betterthan the earlier ones, although my fave is still the guy withthe sword. I'd buy em if they werein stores, not just because I like the idea of confederate troops, but there is an element of quality craftsmanship here. Those (...) Nice Mecha. It looks a lot like one of the Gundam Mobile Suits from Gundam Wing (especally the sword). I'm just a beginner though;-) Dan P.S. The name should be something scary in Latin like Deus Ex Machina or Hades (I know thats not latin) (...) (24 years ago, 20-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

I didn't build mine out of Lego, just made an external cover for it - see it at my work site, (URL) be ripping it apart and rebuilding it yet again soon, as I am switching computers. This time I'll use windows over the LEDs, and try springloaded (...) (24 years ago, 20-Apr-00, to lugnet.build)

Hey, Have any of you built neo-classical styled buildings? I have yet to attempt this. The only good example I can think of is Gary Istoks classical museum: (URL) anyone know of other examples? (24 years ago, 20-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.arch)
