  Re: Starship Command Chairs

(...) Especially (...) I think that once I've finished my current ship, the enemy ship I build will use those third chairs as interrogation chairs for their prisoners--in black, of course. Paul Davidson (25 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Re: 1x1x1 studless corner slope?!

(...) Thanks. I figured... especially after I got home and tried it out with my lego and found that it didn't match the red lego color, and it didn't have lego printed on it. Also the texture of the slope was different. I didn't realize these before (...) (25 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

(...) is more than on plate high,(you sure to find it to be a plate and one half or half a full brick high before it slopes; 2)there are lines of plastic inside the bottom on all 4 sides to help grip it to the/a stud; 3) there is a small diameter (...)   Re: German Half Tread

I am making my own World War II-era German vehicle. Mine, however, is the Hanomag Sdkfz251. (The half-tread.) I trust you are familiar with the vehicle? I need some help. You know the slanted slit-windows that the driver has? How in the hell am I (...) (25 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

  Re: '59 Caddy Hovercar Raytraces

(...) Thanks! (...) I wish...(well, not really. The only thing I could build with pink bricks is Cadillacs :) They really can't be any other color...) You'll notice that the MPD file is in the colors I actually built the model--white. --Bram (25 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: '59 Caddy Hovercar Raytraces

(...) Wow, a blast from the Future that Never Was. Very cool. Where's the robot Elvis, though? Oh, and how do you get your models to float? <grins, ducks and runs> ++Lar (25 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.cad.ray)

  1x1x1 studless corner slope?!

I was just helping my baby-sittees organize their lego when I ran into a 1x1x1 convex corner slope piece. The only way to decribe it otherwise is: this piece is what you'd get if you would cut the 1x2x1 slope peak into two right down the middle. I (...)   Re: New - Heavy Weapons Police Helicopter!

I like it. I like how you've got the canopies mounted on their sides. Pretty slick. Jason (...) (25 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: turntable display base

(...) Hoho! Finally a good use for those turntables! Thanks Sheree! -Shiri (25 years ago, 1-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.castle)

  turntable display base

The black turntable (1.25"diameter -12 stud) placed on the 2 4x4 green plates, all found in the $1.99 Defense Archer poly bag #4811 makes a very nice display stand for a favorite figure. I have the Fabuland Lion holding the lion shield on this set (...) (25 years ago, 1-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.castle, lugnet.fabuland) !

  Aquazone Question

Hey Y'all: I am intrigued by two sets not currently in my possession, one is 2160 and the other is 2162. The point of interest is the front dome pieces. The 2162 has two "clam-shell" like trans-green hinged elements whereas the 2160 only has the top (...) (25 years ago, 1-Apr-00, to lugnet.build)

  UFO dome/hull bottoms

(...) That would rock! (I gotta smile at thought of a watertower with blaster damage on top :-) Someone a while back (I think it was Michael Dorneich) said he was planning to build a football stadium with UFO domes. --Todd [XFUT -> .build] (25 years ago, 1-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.build)

Aircraft of the World -- The Complete Lego Guide

I'm working on a Lego site entitled "Aircraft of the World -- The Complete Lego Guide." Before I put too much effort into the site, I'd like to know -- how popular would it be? How many of you can tell the difference between a MiG-29 and a Su-37? (...) (25 years ago, 1-Apr-00, to lugnet.build)
