  Re: Quadrachu, I choose you!

(...) Hello Eric Sophie “LEGO MASTER” you don't know me but I used to live in Tenafly NJ (I moved to TN a few years ago). I never heard or even saw any of your creations while living in NJ. But I always saw them on Brickshelf; in fact I think you (...) (18 years ago, 9-Feb-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Looking for LEGO instruction CDs we can sell in our store.

(...) In defense of Michael, his suburban Toronto LEGO store (Lasting Toys Inc., a real store, not an online store) is the first toy store that is selling my LEGO CD retail. Cheers, Gay istok (18 years ago, 7-Feb-07, to lugnet.build)

Re: Looking for LEGO instruction CDs we can sell in our store.

OH FOR SURE the original authors even know I am re-selling them. I buy in bulk/they offer cheaper prices that way/less work, and I offer them in the store for cheaper sometimes than they do through the web even. Why is people always assume the worst (...) (18 years ago, 7-Feb-07, to lugnet.build)

Re: Looking for LEGO instruction CDs we can sell in our store.

(...) Anne, Not sure if you're aware of this, but all of the instruction CDs mentioned above are/were for sale by their respective owners. So I assume Michael purchased those CDs before offering them for sale in his own store. Since he's just (...) (18 years ago, 7-Feb-07, to lugnet.build)

Re: Looking for LEGO instruction CDs we can sell in our store.

(...) I have a BIG problem with this. You're taking someone else's work and trying to profit from it. I would have offered instructions, but I don't think it's cool that you take someone else's hard work and earn money off of it. (18 years ago, 7-Feb-07, to lugnet.build)

Re: Gorilla and Arm: two new mecha

Excellent models Tim. The gorilla is a nice take on the Power Suit. I'm not fond of yellow but it works well here. The other is interesting. It's good to see some mecha builders who aren't afraid to try some new things. (18 years ago, 6-Feb-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Torii Gate vignette

(...) Hi, sorry for not responding earlier but that is a brilliant Torii you have there. Beautiful in its simplicity! And very good use of the plates at the top. Any chances of seeing a Shinto temple to complement that? ;) (18 years ago, 5-Feb-07, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Re: NXT controlled Red Quad

(...) Hi J-M, and thank you. I am glad you enjoy seeing my creations. I enjoy making them and it is fun to share them as well. I am checking to see if I can make a smallish Quad in green. I will also be making a short movie and I just fixed a couple (...) (18 years ago, 5-Feb-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: NXT controlled Red Quad

(...) You are right! The motors presented a challenge. There is one approach that could be taken, that is to build the motor for the head pivot, inside the head. Thereby collapsing the size of the neck. The trade off is that the head would have been (...) (18 years ago, 5-Feb-07, to lugnet.build.mecha)
