Hello Eric Sophie “LEGO MASTER” you don’t know me but I used to live in Tenafly NJ (I moved to TN a few years ago). I never heard or even saw any of your creations while living in NJ. But I always saw them on Brickshelf; in fact I think you and Gla gla were the first mecha builders I began to marvel at. But I think that was because Gla gla was in the top “most popular” people on Brickshelf and you always updated your galleries with nothing in them to push down other mecha, I’m not sure. I could be wrong in my assumption.

In 2004, My vacation time was coming up and I wasn’t sure if I’d be making a trip with my parents to New Jersey or D.C for Brickfest (My Mom wanted an IKEA vacation) Since I was doubting the fact that I’d be going to brickfest I e-mailed you using the GardenLug website asking if there were any meetings coming up, you e-mailed me back mentioning that there may or may not be one, but that you would be at fest. A few days later I got the go ahead that we were going to be heading towards D.C for Brickfest04! It was such an amazing experience to be around others who enjoy the hobby as much as I do. And when I was going to the Technic room to say hi and maybe chat with you, you were in the hallway with another person, I won’t relay the conversation, but it was basically me explaining who I was. After that I was pretty much blown off by you. :-)

Ok, so my question on this most recent creation from the “LEGOMASTER” I was wondering (and have for some time now!) Why all your creations look the same? You’ve got the skeleton down which is used in basically all your MOC’s (At least it looks that way) Maybe you should work on the actual design and look instead? I guess what I’m saying is, I got tired of looking at something so fugly being updated so much it was pushing any good mecha models down so that I’d have to click “Next page” a few times before looking at something that was catching to the eye.

I guess what I’m saying is, I consider your mecha models to be the same grade in design as the rainbow warriors I see... Wait, I take that back. I’d rather look at rainbow warriors.

Anyway, I hope you have a good journey towards enlightenment, and God bless.

P.S: Sorry it took so long to get to the question; I felt there was a need for an explanation as to who I was.

P.P.S: Thanks for asking MAJ to take off that Quadrachu card I made of your model, I guess you weren’t able to take it in good fun. :-)

Justin
