  New Beginnings...

Well, I decided to take the plunge and start work on a mech of my own. So, I began work on a shoulder design, using a white clutch gear, that had been floating around in my head for a couple days now. I am happy to say that it works great! I'll get (...)   New report up on Jain's...

...Wish I could find the thread where we were discussing the recent playtest of Brikwars up in NE, but anyway Eric Joslin filed a great field report of the incident for Jain's and its now up :-) (URL) soon to be on its own site... maybe :-) (25 years ago, 18-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Pictures of GFLTC at GATS Ft Myers on our stie...

(...) All the LEGO Trains and etc. at the Ft. Myers show are my own, the other club members didn't make the trip. The station is a three sided model not much to the other side (all the picture are from the front of the display). I'll get more (...) (...) elevator and escalator, restaurant, etc. Was the station a group project, or is that all one person's bricks? What does the front of it look like? I also like the bus on 1st street. Are there any other shots of it? --Bram (25 years ago, 18-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: Good news!

(...) Very nice, Mark! I like the head. That is very hard to get right on a large mecha. keep up the good work! --Karim (25 years ago, 18-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Just wanted to let y'all know that sup pack 5393 is still available! It has lots'o'goodies, not to mention one each of shoulder-length hair in black, brown and red!   Re: CAD images of the MBV-60-A Silhouette

I think you can understand my disappointment, but at the same time I can understand wanting to keep the unique look. Thanks. -- Ben Vaughan ben@marsbase.com (URL) Thomas Jr." <davejr@thomas-superwheel.com> wrote in message (...) (25 years ago, 18-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Good news!

AWESOME model Mark... I also like the cannon, and the head. How tall is that thing exactly. And you even say the operators seat slides out? Too cool. Can't wait to see the missile, cause' you know Mladen likes missiles... <Drool>! (...) Lego (...) (...) (25 years ago, 18-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Good news!

Excellent job Mark, reminds me a lot of the nu-gundam (I think that's the name of it). The feet are really nice, and the shoulder mounted cannon is very cool. My own attempts with large scale mecha have convinced me to stick to smaller scale, due to (...) (25 years ago, 17-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: CAD images of the MBV-60-A Silhouette

Ben, I do plan to do some windows wallpaper backgrounds for downloading off my site, and undoubtedly there will be some larger images of the models when I do. As for answers to your other questions, 3dsMax would make a lot of the stuff that I did (...) (25 years ago, 17-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
