Re: Technique for building metal scaffolding?

(...) I will try some of those search words. Hopefully it will help. But you seem to suggest that my options are technic - studless or otherwise? Aaron (18 years ago, 30-Dec-06, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Finally online : Cafe De Unie

I finally managed to post my last (may/june 2006) MOC online : Cafe De Unie, an architectural masterpiece by JJP Oud, built in 1925 (and rebuilt in 1986) (URL) Jan-Albert van Ree | (URL) (18 years ago, 29-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town) !

Re: Technique for building metal scaffolding?

(...) Hi Aaron, It depends a lot on the dimensions. You might wanna try searching for cranes with lattice booms, as various techniques have been used for those which may work for you. Here are some examples to get you started: (5 URLs) And the new (...) (18 years ago, 29-Dec-06, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Technique for building metal scaffolding?

I have checked brickshelf, and none of my search terms bring results. I'm looking to build the scaffolding/frame similar to the photos (linked below), and would like to learn from other's attempts. If it has been attempted. Thanks in advance. (4 (...) (18 years ago, 29-Dec-06, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Red fighter plane from WoH

(...) Hi Mladen, I pretty much agree with everything you say here. The canards are studs out mainly because the area they attach to is (neccesarily) studs out and there is a fairly limited selection of snot bricks in dark red. Along with other (...) From Gunota Headlines Blog: Yet another Bandai merchandise questionnaire, this time on Gundam Perfect Web's Mega Bloks site ( (URL) ).   Re: Red fighter plane from WoH

(...) That is a difficult plane to model, so I give you kudos for just attempting it. Despite a couple inaccuracies, I think this is a really good start. The engine and the main wings are superb. The main body could use a bit more trimming and (...) (18 years ago, 28-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: Mech Repair Facility

(...) snip (...) Thanks, Bryce. I have so many Mechs built, that I couldn't possibly make a decent repair bay for each one, so the "generic" Mech bay seemed to be the best thing to do. As I read what was being planned for the MCP, it occurred to me (...) (18 years ago, 27-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Red fighter plane from WoH

(2 URLs) BS> (URL) Flickr> Well I seem to have found a new fad (after some prodding by Mladen). This fighter is the major aeroplane for the 'good guys' in the final battle of the film. It's far from perfect and I've already started making some (...) (18 years ago, 27-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX)

Re: Armoured Personell Carrier from Wings of the Honneamise

(...) Hi Magnus, Sorry I didn't answer you on flickr but you have more questions here so it's ok... I can't tell where the driver sits either (maybe under/next to the dome turret) but the front is the end without the mandibles/door. I'll be happy to (...)   Re: Armoured Personell Carrier from Wings of the Honneamise

Tim, (...) Thanks for sharing. What an interesting looking vehicle - I can't quite tell where the driver sits and it isn't completely apparent what the front and back are. I'd be happy to see more MOCs of vehicles from "Wings of the Honneamise." I (...) (18 years ago, 27-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: Mech Repair Facility

(...) Jon, I love the idea of a sort of "generic" mecha bay. This one seems very well thought out. I really like the "roof" and the struts on the side holding it up. Somehow that really caught me eye. Also the idea of it being modular is rockin'. (...) (18 years ago, 27-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mech Repair Facility

(...) Wow, that's quite a facility! Lest you think you're being ignored, I wanted to post a quick reply with the intent of following up a little later (I'm about to leave work for the day). More to come... Dave! (18 years ago, 26-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)
