Hi Aaron, thank you for your feedback as well. And yes, feel free to use these pictures as a reference for your own creations. I allways try to start with a very characteristic detail or area of a building. The tall windows with the double arches (...) Hi Gary, many thanks for your bi-lingual feedback and comments! While gathering information I used several websites and two nice books. I know most of the whole history of the church right now. Holger, Kurz gesagt, Ausgezeichnet!! Dresden's Frauenkirche (also its' Cathedral), was Germany's largest (as-built) Lutheran Cathedral. snip The model is spot on from start to finish. I loved the way you handled the walls. And running my fingers over the roof slopes was fun. As always so much is lost because of having only pictures. Very nice model! When we visited Dresden in June 2004, the church was still under construction, but largely finished on the outside. There was actually a large Lego model of the Frauenkirche in one of the local department stores (Kaufhof? (...) (18 years ago, 14-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

(URL) Hi all, between March and mid August I build a scaled model of the Frauenkirche in Dresden (Church of our lady). The real church was nearly fully destroyed in the last days of WW II and encouraged people decided after the german reunification (...) Melody - that is a lovely tribute. I was so shocked to hear of Steve Irwin's death. He was a super entertainer, a good family man and a great Australian.
