Re: LEGO Picture Frame for Valentine's day

(...) Is that your girlfriend in the photo? Because if not, this must have made her pretty jealous. Nice frame. -Brendan (19 years ago, 13-Mar-06, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  A Playmate For My Spider

About a year ago I built a spider ((URL)). He seemed a bit lonely, so I build him a playmate. (2 URLs) I'm not sure how well the relationship is working out. The spider seems a bit agressive....   Re: New theme and new creation: Forest Sentinel

Dark Tower fan here too and just thought I'd plug my DT lego creations: (URL) only suggestion for your MOC is to maybe change the color scheme of the mech. Something other than blue. To me, with the stream in it, the blue representing the water and (...) (19 years ago, 11-Mar-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New theme and new creation: Forest Sentinel

Hello Adrian, I'm a fan of The Dark Tower too. You did an exciting MOC. Nothing more to say that hasn't been pointed out by others already. Still I wanted to give you feedback, as I've been watching the pictures for quite a while. Like to see more (...) (19 years ago, 10-Mar-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Viper - an Exo-Force excercise

(...) Viper can be posed quite well without breaking. But a child would break it at¬ first grab. I have the same problems with some of my technic ball joints. They just don't ¬ grip as good as the others. Sometimes it helps to try another axle. I (...) (19 years ago, 10-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Viper - an Exo-Force excercise

(...) It was meant to be a compliment! :) It's sad that it breaks easy though. I don't mean this to be a slur on yours (or anyones!) buiding techniques, but I haven't quite got my head round the idea of building models that don't stand up to playing (...)   Re: Blacktron Crusader Robot

(...) Brilliant like allways! My only suggestion would be to bulk up the legs a bit. They seem too thin and light compared to the rest of Mark III. BTW, where do you get all those small parts from? Thanks for sharing (URL) Marco> (19 years ago, 10-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Timberwolf/Madcat

(...) Well done Nathan! You managed to capture the shape with minimalistic brick usage. The MOC looks very clear and straight. Personaly I would replace the trans-neon cones. White or dark red would be fine, IMHO. Keep up the good work (URL) Marco> (19 years ago, 10-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Viper - an Exo-Force excercise

(...) Danke Mladen. (I read something about German on your web page...) (...) It's a seldom used colour on Mecha. I'll try to use it more often in future.   Re: Viper - an Exo-Force excercise

(...) Thanks Matthew, but it came out of occasion. I only had those colores left. (...) That's a really good idea. I give that a try. (...) I take this as a compliment! It never will become a set. It's just not playable. It breaks very easily. (...) (19 years ago, 10-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Viper - an Exo-Force excercise

(...) Hello Jas, the lime bricks were around for some time. Never found a good chance to use them. So when I started with Viper those lime, green and blay bricks were the only usefull around. I was surprised myself how it came out. (...) Thank you. (...) (19 years ago, 10-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Hyena

(...) Hi Matthew, (...) Well they are what it's all about. I started with the legs. It took some time to get them to work. (...) That was the second time killer on Hyena.   Re: Lego Art - Picture Frame

(...) Oh hey, thank you. I can arrange that. (...) Actually, I got the idea from LEGO. They sell these neat picture frames that are faced with a large plate and cut out. So I started making them a couple of years ago as a way to use up bulk plates (...) (19 years ago, 8-Mar-06, to lugnet.build, FTX)
