I've been informed that lugnet's URL redirection was choking on these so I"ve reposted the offending links below in plain text. (URL) (19 years ago, 6-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: WIP - Comments and suggestions much appreciated

Looking good - not really saying ZZ to me, but that's just fine, because I hate the ZZ Gundam :). I do have a short list of criticisms and suggestions: Chest: I think moving the whole torso back about a stud on the hip assembly would make it seem (...) Sorry I can't help you with suggestions on where to go next. I just wanted to chime in and say that is a very clean design so far, from what I can see. I would like to see more of how you used those mecha click hinges - did you use them for the (...) (19 years ago, 5-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Magnificent. Suggestions? pfff. That's an awesome Mech. Back pack? Should be really nice to make. How? I'm sure you'll manage given the natural flow of the rest of the Mecha. I'd say just follow that. Great work! e (19 years ago, 5-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Hey, Good point about the angles, here's some more pics... (2 URLs) The rear is not really finished yet as you can see, thats why I was going to use a Back pack of some description but not sure what sort of style, winged or boosters, or a mix of (...) (...) holy crap, that's a work in ~progress~?! it's wonderful! perhaps some more shots would highlight any areas of weakness - you said about a backpack and we can't see what the back looks like at the moment; but if that were mine, I'd be happy to (...)   Re: The Brick Testament: The End of the World (and more!)

Hi, Tommy. (...) Gosh, thanks. I definitely think there are more impressive builders than me out there, but I guess I take some nice photos and tell a good illustrated story. (...) It pleases me that The Brick Testament has been enjoyed by people (...) (19 years ago, 5-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

WIP - Comments and suggestions much appreciated

Hi all, Just thought I'd post a WIP of my latest Mecha. Its been a while since I've built anything and I have now got a pretty good storage system for my bricks, so it was a joy building this. (URL) The design is loosely based on the ZZ Gundam (saw (...) (19 years ago, 5-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) You are perhaps the consummate artist in the medium of LEGO. I never fail to find delight in you depictions, despite the fact that I might not quite go along with all your interpretations. I think your book will probably be around until the (...) (19 years ago, 5-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)
