  Sergeant Destroy - Greco Stylin'

G'day all, I've long been a fan of our man Felix's (URL), and find it fairly surprising that no-one else has adopted building people in this scale. So, I did it myself. I based my effort in no small part on this little figurine I found amongst my (...) (19 years ago, 16-Nov-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !!

  Re: Colossal Castle Contest III

(...) I still need to photograph most of the used sets and update the prizes page. All of the used sets have instructions and are in very good to excellent condition without smoke damage. I can't say when I will have time get the sets assembled and (...) (19 years ago, 15-Nov-05, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.contests, FTX)

  Re: New Mecha: The Cub

(...) Awww, swizzle sticks, I was just thinking about you! Hahahaha, to tell the truth, I always wanted a distinctive Anime looking Mecha in my Biomechanical Ranks. This did it for me. (...) Thanks, I feel much the same way. I am very happy with it (...) (19 years ago, 15-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New Mecha: The Cub

(...) You're too sly Eric... you know how to build Gundam after all! Stop fooling us! Show us what you got up that sleeve of yours. ;-p I gotta say Eric, this is one of your best mecha yet. Hmmm... Maybe I'm just liking it so much 'cause of the (...) (19 years ago, 15-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New Mecha: The Cub

(...) Yay! (...) Meee 2! (...) When I was building the Mecha, I introduced some stops around the joints to cope with the stability issues. The loss of poseability in some places, in my mind, makes it more of a sculpture. (...) Thanky. (...) (...) (19 years ago, 15-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New Mecha: The Cub

Right on right on E. I got to say, I'm loving the CUB. There's a lot of brickwork here that I'm loving. The hip especially, the angles and shaping of the body. That's where Mecha meets sculpture right there. Very impressive with the click hinges, (...) (19 years ago, 15-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Colossal Castle Contest III

(...) From the categories & prizes page: "See links for actual photos of used sets." What links? The pictures themselves aren't links. I'm not sure where to click. (19 years ago, 15-Nov-05, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.contests, FTX)

  Re: Sears Tower: Supersize Me

(...) WOW times a million Spencer. Amazing! I'm mostly into technic building but always apprec. other works of art. THAT my friend is a work of art! Again, very nice and well done. Take Care, Glen Bell (19 years ago, 15-Nov-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: New Mecha: The Cub

(...) I introduced stops around some of joints to help. Once the weight of the Mech exceeded the joints abilities, I surrounded some of the joints with bricks. Limiting some of the posability, yet continuing to use the rotational click hinges as the (...) (19 years ago, 15-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New Mecha: The Cub

(...) Did you really get a 20 inch mech to support its own weight using only rotating click hinges? Really? Are you serious? No, really? That's a rather tricky thumb, as well. So you say both the heel and the toe pivot? Maybe future pics will make (...) (19 years ago, 15-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Hey Jojo, More great furnishings! (Though I do not know the commercial) After all the great stuff (URL) in this folder>, you'd better be planning an entry for the "Castle room interior" category in CCCIII. Bruce (19 years ago, 14-Nov-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Notre Dame, Paris

(...) I'm going to design everything in MLCAD, then build as I can afford it. The one flying buttress has about 700 parts. IIRC, there are about 18 buttresses in the actual building. Those will be a small portion of the actual size of the final (...) (19 years ago, 14-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: MOC: Notre Dame, Paris

(...) Looks like it will turn out quite nice. Is the cathedral going to be all CAD, or are you using the CAD program to plan what you're going to build in real life? The crossposting you used for the message was exactly the way it should be. : ) (...) (19 years ago, 14-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.arch)

  MOC: Notre Dame, Paris

Hello All: This is my first post to the newsgroups. I wasn't sure if I was allowed to cross-post to other groups; let me know if that is discouraged. I've started working on a minifig-scale model of the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris. I've got a (...) (19 years ago, 14-Nov-05, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: After Eight

Hi Nathan! Thanks! (...) Haha, right! The Playmobil 1900 line inspires me a lot when it comes to interiors. In fact I had (actually still have) a fireplace play set from Playmobil. And before I became an purist/AFOL and before I had a Belville (...) (19 years ago, 12-Nov-05, to lugnet.build)
