  Re: After Eight

Hi Janey! Thanks! (...) Yeah, me too. Unfortunatelly some dumb...erm... abolished the brown, so the handle isn't available in a suitable brown. I tried black, but that didn't fit, either. So I opted for tan. (...) Never would he! There is no brown (...) (19 years ago, 12-Nov-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.color)

  Re: After Eight

Another great MOC JoJo! I love the maid's skirt, the whole scene is well composed and has a certain 'playmobile' like feel.. I particularly like the bottles, the tea cart and the 'chocolates'. I must admit the clock is not my faviourite, though the (...) (19 years ago, 12-Nov-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: After Eight

(...) Wow Jojo, you never seem to stop amazing me when it comes to detailed interiors and furniture. The mantel clock look great, and the fireplace facade is wonderfully detailed without being overpowering, and the tea cart is effective without (...) (19 years ago, 12-Nov-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  After Eight

How do you do? Recently, when I built an antique armchair I found it would fit to a "state visit fireplace colloquy" scene. So I built a fireplace. A fireplace almost automatically requests a mantel clock, so I built that, too. Having built all this (...) (19 years ago, 12-Nov-05, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, FTX) !!

Re: The World according to Harshbarger, Lambrecht, and Lowell

(...) Derek is correct, the physical land mass of Antartica is actually almost the same as the USA (5.4 million sq miles vs 5.9 million sq miles). The ice shelves and ice mass are in addition to this area. Having said that, your creation is way cool (...) (19 years ago, 11-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

Late night in the Moscow Metro

Hi all, Recently I've become quite interested (a little addicted might even be more accurate) to Russian trains and Soviet architecture. Both have their own unique traits and styles which appear pretty much nowhere outside the former Soviet Bloc. (...)   Re: Microscale USS Fletcher Class Destroyer

(...) You're asking the wrong person that question :) I tend to make parts I need ;) With great care and attention to finish so most people don't even realise they're aren't original Lego parts. But it is a last resort even for me ! JB (19 years ago, 10-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Microscale USS Fletcher Class Destroyer

Re: Microscale USS Fletcher Class Destroyer

(...) Thanks John for your kind words. May I ask you and other more experienced micro-builders. What is accepted or not while buildning.   Re: Microscale USS Fletcher Class Destroyer

(...) Thanks James. Yes it took some time to find this solution which fits well into the bow area and also allowes for mounting the farward 5 inch gun on the centerline. /Mattias (19 years ago, 10-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Microscale USS Fletcher Class Destroyer

(...) I like it a huge amount. I need to build some wargaming models, I think! The adaptation of brick-curvature to plate-curvature is a very nice evolution, and I love those AA guns. all best LFB (19 years ago, 10-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.military)

Micro-scale reaches the tipping point of popularity!

Based on my observations, micro-scale has more unique posts in the LUGNET spotlight right now (Nov. 9, 2005) than in any other time in history. I think it's safe to say that Micro-building has reached the point at which it's accepted as a mainstream (...) (19 years ago, 10-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.microscale)
