Wow Jojo, you never seem to stop amazing me when it comes to detailed interiors and furniture. The mantel clock look great, and the fireplace facade is wonderfully detailed without being overpowering, and the tea cart is effective without being oversized, although I would have prefered brown instead of the tan. I like the small details as well, such as the covered silver bowl (train lamps/radar dish) as well as the maids apron. The armchairs do look wonderful in this setting. Nicely done as always.

In the finished scene... with the tell tale black After Eight dinner mint wrappers (tiles) scattered about, I have to wonder... why is there a brown one? Was he so lost in the moment of passion for the perfect After Dinner Chocolate Mint that he was so careless as to drop one on the floor??? Also, I have to assume that the flower in the maids hair is just being held on by the magic of gravity, correct?

Its always a delight to click on one of your posts, today did not disappoint.

Cheers,

Janey “Red Brick”

A fireplace almost automatically requests a mantel clock, so I built that, too. Having built all this (...) (19 years ago, 12-Nov-05, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, FTX) !!
