Re: Widow Spider: Warning it is yet another Bionicle MOC...

"Why would you need urging to post such an amazing creation?!?!?" I've just gotten in the habit of avoiding Lugnet. I don't really like the limelight that much. "This is construction is simply amazing. After seeing your previous work, I hoped you (...) (19 years ago, 2-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New Build - DB 115 Multiped Tank

Hey cool, lot's of stuff attached to the Multiped. I was thinking it could do with longer legs. Though that is up to you. The body has cool stuff, perhaps extend the legs and you'll show off the chunky body? Good detail, thanks for sharring! Great (...) (19 years ago, 2-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: What's the status of LEGO 48x48 mosaics?

I just got confirmation from someone in sales at LLCA that the mosaic programmed has indeed been discontinued. The park would like to keep offering mosaics, but needs to arrange a supply source (I suppose the 90 element bags were unique to mosaics). (...) (...) Hi Jas, this is really a nice piece of work! (...) Sorry, I don't know the last one (but I'll have to seek for him!). The inspiration can easily been seen. You did a good job! You were inspired but you built your very own creation. (...) Hey (...) (19 years ago, 1-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: What's the status of LEGO 48x48 mosaics?

(...) I'm hoping it's just a changeover from old grays to new grays. The mosaics seemed rather popular at LLCA -- at least I often saw customers buying them. But then, its not unusual for TLC to do things that make no sense to us mortals... If (...) (19 years ago, 1-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)

  Re: A french BB 62400

(...) Right, I can see it now. It's the tile on top that's offset a little because the stud it's on (the transparent brick) isn't in a natural position. Of course, it would probably have been simpler to use two clear 1x2 plates with a tile on top, (...) (19 years ago, 1-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.trains, FTX)

New Build - DB 115 Multiped Tank

Hi all, Been a while since I last posted, since my last (not quite finished) post I got distracted and built this... (URL) Brickshelf Link (URL) It is heavily inspired by the works of Soren and Mladen and obviously Shirow Masamune, whose work I (...) (19 years ago, 1-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX) !

  Re: A french BB 62400

(...) I'm not sure but I think there's a misunderstanding there. (I've been not precise enough) There are two tiles and if the one in the side (SNOT mounted) of the engine has no offset, the one "stud up" has a 0.4 stud offset relatively to the (...)   Re: What's the status of LEGO 48x48 mosaics?

(...) I sent out some feelers a few weeks ago when I noticed the entire category had disappeared from US S@H, but have not heard anything definitive. I was also trying to push the idea that Brick-o-Lizer be kept as a design tool online even if the (...) (19 years ago, 1-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

  Re: A french BB 62400

(...) This is a useful technique I and others have used before, but in this case it isn't actually necessary. Try putting a technic 1x1 brick with a half pin in it, or a 'dalek' brick (1x1 brick with studs on all sides) on top of the laid-down (...)   June meeting pool MOCs contest ideas

Do water and Lego bricks mix? Maybe we should try to find out! Here are a few contest ideas. Let me know what you think, and we'll settle on one or more of them and flesh them out for the June 12 IndyLUG meeting at the pool. Floatation contest. (...)   What's the status of LEGO 48x48 mosaics?

LEGO has stopped selling the 48x48 mosaics at LLCA and via lego.com. Anyone know why or if this is permament or if there is a new plan? -Ted (19 years ago, 31-May-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)
