  Re: Tiger 1 WW2 Tank

All right, I've been following this part with some curiosity .... Where can you get these tank treads? I looked at the LEGO Dacta link that Larry posted, and I'm not convinced that they are the same as the ones Carl used. In fact, I'm pretty sure (...)   Re: Tiger 1 WW2 Tank

:-p Sorry! Thank you very much though for counting. Man, that's going to be expensive! I figured I'd buy 10 sets just to be safe. Approx. $60 will give me enough for two tanks or so!   Re: Tiger 1 WW2 Tank

Eric, You've made me sit here and count them!! On the Tiger there are 64 links on each side, however, the Challenger has 74. Obviously, different wheel arangements will call for more or less links. Buying 200 links will give you enough deffy. "grin" (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

Darth Vader minifig keychain has printed face!!!

Yesterday, I conducted a tactical assault on the Lego Outlet store here in Georgia. One of the things I bought was a Darth Vader minifig keychain, just to answer the question, "Is his head printed?" Let me start out by saying that your models make me want to shelve my castle project! Seeing your models, coupled with seeing Saving Private Ryan recently, has given me some inspiration! (...) Think out of the box, please. Znap is tres useful for large engineering structures. Anyone who doesn't want their Znap is invited to drop me a line, perhaps we can work something out. (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.znap, lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

  Re: NEW PICTURES

For a German WWII helmet, you can custom make somthing that works pretty well. I cut down a motorcycle helmet, and one of the flare-necked castle helmets. Glue the bottom of the flare to the top of the motorcycle helmet, repaint, and you get (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: NEW PICTURES

Carl, Brilliant work. I've made a fairly cool Panther tank (lotsa slopes), but need some tracks. Where did you get yours? Also, the Vader helmet (with the mask & some of the bottom trimmed away) would make a very good stahlhelm. Kevin (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.starwars)
