  Re: Velociraptor

(...) D'HO! Sorry about that. Well you know what they say about great minds. "Great minds think alike and fools seldom differ." I know I'm a fool so.... (...) The angles kept playing upon themselves with this creation. It worked really well. (...) I (...) (20 years ago, 19-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Velociraptor

(...) GREAT! Yeah the ridgid leg design is nice for mecha building because of lack of need of specialized parts and the strength of the joints. The bad side is it doesn't move but you can stack all kind of brick on top of it and it'll hold the pose. (...) (20 years ago, 19-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Velociraptor

(...) Ok, we'll just need a license and proof of insurance, don't forget to try out all the features, mulible targeting array, duplexing coolant systems, side curtain airbags, and new engine dampining for a quiet ride.   Re: Velociraptor

(...) Good stuff as usual Mark. My favs on this one are the triple barrel gun pods (especially the tips) and I also noticed on the detail pics the piston that braces the leg is actually not a piston but some clever legoing!   Re: Stormwalker MkII

(...) Marco, I am curious what parts you used in the knees that twisted? Mark Neuman and I have had an ongoing dialog about can LEGO break and how much weight it can support? Brian (20 years ago, 18-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Stormwalker MkII

(...) Sorry Kyle, no way. I ran into serious weight problems. The technic parts I used in the knee joint are allready twisted. Replacing them with thicker ones would cause a total redesign of the legs. I hope to get a better size/weapon ratio next (...) (20 years ago, 18-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Velociraptor

(...) Hi Mark, I hope you're not seriously ill! Again you did a great job! I enjoied the MOC page very much. You mentioned some quite interesting details.   Re: Winter's New Direction: Study 17

(...) A couple traffic lights on all three sides would work fine. Assume the three sides are A, B and C (counter-clockwise), and you had lights before the Y (1) and at the stop sign (2). During Rush hour and peak times (as determined by a traffic (...) (20 years ago, 18-Feb-05, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Velociraptor

(...) I hope you're feeling better Mark. ;-) I like this mech a lot. The legs look perfect, the colour usage is just right, and the detailing (i.e. the engines) is nice. Well done.   Re: Winter's New Direction: Study 17
