I like the general low-slung shape of these mechs. They look very agressive, and the large back-side could be equipped with a variety of things, such as huge missile launchers, a rocket booster pack, massive railguns... The underside and the arms are also very inviting to equip with huge weapons, like miniguns, or grenade launchers... I haven’t seen this shape before.

It would be interesting to see someone take this shape to the minifig scale. I want to, but unfortunately, I don’t build much nowadays. But thanks for sharing some great inspiration! :)

(...) Thanks. This was planned and a necessity. I wanted to get a start with Mechs but I figured that a humanoid would be too challenging for the first build so I tried to go in a new direction. After building my first Mech the (URL) ABD-I> I decided that I also needed an alien race to battle (You know how Mech, unless your Eric, leads to war). So I present the Kalate OmniDroid (URL) Since I am still progressing and learning about Mechs, I (...)
