Thanks, again. I feel a little bit cheated on my next Mech. Somehow, I guess via e-mail charma, they have quite a resemblance. I guess you have mentored me more than you thought.

D’HO! Sorry about that. Well you know what they say about great minds. “Great minds think alike and fools seldom differ.” I know I’m a fool so....

I like the animalistic references with the cockpit and feet. Cool.

The angles kept playing upon themselves with this creation. It worked really well.

Your color schemes are always unbelievable. The green is really great.

I love Green/DkGray. It’s such a forgiving color combo and just drips in “cool.”

I like how you switch, as stated, from a fully-geared Mech to one that is almost stationary. That really makes me question every joint I make, “How does it need to move?” , “Does it need to move?”, “Does it need to be a gear?”. Great inspiration.

That’s the point isn’t it. It’s like when we read I think. You’ll want a good nice deep story so you go and dig out some Shakespere, or a good Russian Novel, but afterwards you’re spent in a way. So it’s time to dig up a good old D&D novel and have some proverbial cake after eating the meal. Always remember, this is supposed to be fun, and that’s how I build. I’ll get worn out after a big complicated creation. It’s lots of fun and very rewarding to pump out a mech like this. Both are awesome, but in very different ways. “Play on” people.

I am biting on your offer on the backgrounds. How do you do that? My micro-city would have been so much better with a background like that.

I am fortunate that my dad is a photography hobbyist. He’s been watching my skills grow over the last few years and on my last birthday bought me a photography screen. The thing is Very, Very nice. I roll it out place the creation on it and it makes a nice clean background. Before that I had two or three pieces of art paper that I set up behind the creation. Not as seamless but very clean and good looking none the less. For smaller creations they worked exactly the same as a photo screen. A few simple things for the photo shoot (a nice solid background, good lighting and a tripod) and a decent art program (I use Corel Draw 12) will work wonders for your published works.

Thnks for the reply Brian.
