Re: Update on my 2wide work

(...) Niiiice! Do I recognize a certain white building w/red roof in this pic: (URL) the microscale equivalent of: (URL) mountain as well, John. Looks like all fits on a standard LUCNY table too! This is coming to Ithaca, no? Can I run my N stuff on (...) (20 years ago, 7-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.org.us.lucny)

Re: Update on my 2wide work

(...) There are some train pics here; (URL) the loco shell is seriously hollowed out. That does take practice. Although I got lucky, the second, backup shell is still unmodified. As it turns out, the track exactly snaps between plates arranged two (...) (20 years ago, 7-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.microscale)

Re: Update on my 2wide work

I'm not John but.. (...) It's N scale track actually, I think. I'm guessing that perhaps he did not secure it. (...) Previous posts by JB described the massive route-out he did to accomplish putting an N scale engine guts inside of a brick shell. (...) (20 years ago, 7-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.microscale)

Re: Update on my 2wide work

(...) BAM! Way to hit Micro to the bleachers. Way impresed. 2 Questions though, 1) How have you sercured the HO scale track to the base plates? and 2) how have you hidden the engine in something that is only 2 wide (I suspect brick butchering :D). I (...) (20 years ago, 7-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.microscale)

Re: Shogun, BAM (Big *** Mech)

(...) Thank you! (...) Complex construction, life like simplicity. Funny that, kind of matches my programming motto. (Complex coding/simple functionality) The short of this is a complex arraingement of parts, all working to a unified sum, everything (...) (20 years ago, 7-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Shogun, BAM (Big *** Mech)

Awesome work!!! The level of detail on this thing is almost excessive, but somehow works with the model, instead of against it... Very nice. I could go on and on about how well built and designed this is, but I'll spare you. The rifle alone is a (...) (20 years ago, 7-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: A hockey coincidence

Hey Norbert, First, let me say, I'm a big fan of your minifigs. They are awesome. I don't have the patience for painting (those who can, do, those who can't, just gawk in amazement at those who can do. Who Do. Er... ), so, wow. Do you have a (...)   Re: Shogun, BAM (Big *** Mech)

(...) Actually I have a ton of data on the APU from the Matrix official website.. including a full 1024x768 picture of the full size APU model built by the sfx boys.... But the feet.. the feet are killing my brain.. (URL) Look at the bottom right (...) (20 years ago, 6-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Shogun, BAM (Big *** Mech)

First, apologies if this creates a second post, I must of hit the wrong button or something. Not seeing my reply. (...) Thanks Kevin. (...) I agree. There seems to be the trend that people make mechs that look really cool and are (almost always) (...) (20 years ago, 6-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Paladin

(...) Cool. Way to go Marco. Looks like Paladin is quite a bit of fun to play with. (oops, we don't really play here do we? Well, yeah, constantly.) Paladin's got a good balance of size and proportions. The joints are well suited to your design and (...) (20 years ago, 6-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Shogun, BAM (Big *** Mech)

(...) Cool. Glad to hear it man. Build, build, build. That's the motto (or at least it's mine) here in .mecha. Kind of funny you bring it up. Because I think probably the only factor that I try to keep is the reverse knee design to make it a (...) (20 years ago, 6-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Shogun, BAM (Big *** Mech)

(...) Hmmmm, could be fun. Just what I need, another reason to watch the Matrix again, and again, and again.... (20 years ago, 6-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Shogun, BAM (Big *** Mech)

(...) SCHAWING! Ok.. I challenge you to build an APU from Matrix Revolutions! From the looks of this, you could pull it off.. I've tried..but seem to lack the pinache to make the legs/Arms... (20 years ago, 6-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Shogun, BAM (Big *** Mech)

(...) Yo, and it definitly looks like a Neumann-Mecha. And this is sooooo cool! I really like it. It's the best big one you built for a while. In Snowcat I saw you went a new way. It was good to do so but somehow it didn't look as perfect (to me). (...) (20 years ago, 6-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Shogun, BAM (Big *** Mech)

(...) Got the MOC page up see it (URL) here>. Has some commentary with it that could be helpful in trying to understand some of the tech. Of course, I'm no Goldman, but I try to be entertaining. Mark (20 years ago, 6-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX) !

Re: Shogun, BAM (Big *** Mech)

(...) Great work, Mark. I've always classified Mecha into 2 classes: Spacey and Technicy This mech shows a perfect mix of the two. It is the best wormgear & technic turntable mech I've seen in quite a while. The poses with the gun are amazingly (...) (20 years ago, 6-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
