Re: Moonbase Module: Mech Bay 08 - Chili Den

(...) snip Eric, when I saw your new Mech Bay I got this hilarious image in my head of your bipedal mechs teasing your quadrapeds about not being able to fit in the Mech Bays, whereupon your quadrapeds started bugging you non-stop until you built (...)   Re: My First Mech ... Please Critic

(...) lol... not so much that it's an ED-209, it's just that it has that reverse knee bend action :) Again, not that I have anything against these type of mechs, I just prefer a more "humanoid" type model. Keep on truckin! E. (20 years ago, 26-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Moonbase Module: Mech Bay 08 - Chili Den

(...) ..and chili was built in two days, making it a week project. Welcome back Dave! (...) With 8, it would either connect to itself, or have to go veritcal. 6 was just an occurance in the construction. I used the wing plates to form the floors and (...)   Re: New invention instructions

(...) Seven: Here are two documents which show exactly how to build working components which I think go beyond what comes with the kit. They are free to download .pdf files. This one is written by Fred Martin, who designed the original RCX brick: (...)   Re: Moonbase Module: Mech Bay 08 - Chili Den

(...) Sorry... "it doesn't seem like a moonbase module" wasn't fair. How many do you have, anyway? Do you keep them assembled, or do you take each down to build another? I'd love to see all of 'em hooked up and populated with mechy goodness. It (...) (20 years ago, 25-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Examples for the mosaic enthousiasts.

(...) Glad you like it. A .wks file is a Works Datasheet. I use Works (as part of my Windows XP) because I don't have Excel yet. If I ever get Excel I will replace all the .wks files with .xls files (if there's only text in the cells, they should (...) (20 years ago, 25-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

Re: A little somethin' for everyone

Hello! (...) Yeah, I wonder what they were thinking when they disarticulated the elbows of the figs. That clearly is not an improvement. I was glad, though, they didn't continue the Fairy Tale line with these new figures, so I wasn't forced to (...) (20 years ago, 25-Jan-05, to lugnet.belville, lugnet.build, FTX)
