Hello!

I’m really bummed that TLG decided to take the 04-05 belville collection in an entierly different direction, a few too many BUMPs and lack of articulation in the arms makes the newer sets fairly uninteresting to me.

Yeah, I wonder what they were thinking when they disarticulated the elbows of the figs. That clearly is not an improvement. I was glad, though, they didn’t continue the Fairy Tale line with these new figures, so I wasn’t forced to collect those “nearly Castle” sets (as I consider the Fairy Tale set) anymore :-)

This year we will se some new Fairy Tale sets, based upon real fairy tales like the Little Mermaid and the Snow Queen (name in English?). Maybe I’ll pick up some of these.

Any experience as of yet with swapping heads from the new b-ville minifigs to the old? Maybe I’ll ask Brad.

No, I only swapped Belville heads to Fabuland torsos. Looks erm... *cough* now.

Actually the only work I ever did with Belville was this (and yes, I know, it’s not the first time I’m showing this):

Thanks, Jo, for the praise!!! I've appreciated a lot of your work and opinions here on lugnet in the past. It's twice as nice to get props from such an active member of the lugnet community, so I'll thank you a second time. I'm really bummed that (...)
