The planters and open-faced helmets are a departure from the usual hostile
environment theme, and so this would be hard-pressed to fit well into any
moonbase display Ive ever seen. It would work better if the plants were
weird-colored and tended by martians, but as it is it doesnt seem like a
moonbase module.

Hi Tony, thanks for the reply.
Open faced helmuts? Where? The visors are just flipped up.
Also, what is the matter, never seen ESB? Forest moon dude.

Sorry... it doesnt seem like a moonbase module wasnt fair.

...and pardon me if I seemed in kind.

How many do
you have, anyway? Do you keep them assembled, or do you take each down to
build another? Id love to see all of em hooked up and populated with mechy
goodness. It would be cool to have that many modules that all thematically
go together so well.

Lets see, I have 4 Moonbase Module
Mech Bays now, a total of 14 baseplates:
Mech Bay 04
Mount SciBrick -
Moonbase Module Mech Bay 05
Mech Bay 07
Mech Bay 08
I myself cant wait to get 500 tables and put them together!
See, and there is the quandry, you are right, the green forest/grasslands
module makes for a funky fit. However, it was my thought to surround Mech Bay 08
with similar earthen terrain. A future goal in tandem with other Mecha Builders
so we can have a layout strategy for the genre.

Thanks again, try to keep an open mind.

Aw, dont take it like that, man. Im happy to see a post that actually has
a MOC- those are so rare around here these days. Thanks!
