Brian,
Im really not a fan of the ED-209 type mechs, but even then, this one isnt
so bad.

I love this statement because it shows my ignorance and lack of experience in
the Mech world! I had no idea that was a ED-209 type model that I was
mimicking. All I was thinking was bi-pedal with missiles.
Do you have a link to any particular documentation on ED-209 Mechs?

If you wanna continue to go in this direction, I suggest that you
try some variation with your legs... I mean, try making them a tad beefier.
With some of the technic pieces, it gives you a little more breathing
space, however, it leaves a lot of empty space as well, leaving the legs to
look a little thin. Since you still have a + slot available on the bottom
leg (the piece that holds the bottom ball joint), you may want to consider
puting a bar in there, and then add some regular bricks which should make
it a little more meaty. You might want to try building a few more of these
type of mechs before you tackle a bigger one, so that when you finally
decide to go big, you at least have a few ideas to play with. Great job.

Since this was my first mech I did find myself at a loss of creativity when
it came to the legs. I concentrated more on working than looks.
I appreciate your comments.
Thank you,
Brian

lol... not so much that its an ED-209, its just that it has that reverse knee
bend action :) Again, not that I have anything against these type of mechs, I
just prefer a more humanoid type model. Keep on truckin!
