Hi Dave You’ve linked to the wrong page; it point at some woozy guide to wimpy nonlethal weapons. Cheers NB (20 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.space, FTX)

Mech and starship slideshows at Philcon SF con

I'm running the Children's Program (ages 6-12) at the (URL) SF convention this December, and I've expanded my domain to include LEGO activities (for all ages). Among them, I'm compiling topical shorts from (URL) BrickFilms>, and a couple of (...)   Re: Incredible Ohio Stadium Model!

(...) It rocks! I see lot of nice details and great ways to replicate the original design. It kinda saddens me to see that it's not Minifig scale, but I understand that it would be a bit difficult to make one that size :-) Great work. Truly (...)   Re: Female humanoid; 4508 alternate

(...) Thanks. Actually the whole female started with the shoes. So when I had built the shoes with high heels I had to build a large female. Otherwise it wouldn't have made sense... (...) It's not completely solid, but most of her torso is. Maybe I (...) (20 years ago, 5-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.loc.nl, lugnet.space)

  Re: SnowCat

This was the hard part of this one, I had to find two white plate hinges that had exactly the same tension in them. Otherwise the greater friction on one side of the jaw versus the other would cause the jaw to come apart. (...) Hehe, theme, I really (...) (20 years ago, 5-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: SnowCat

Wow, good morning! I have been waiting for this. Hmmm, let's see. Oh wow, I really like the way the mouth opens and closes. The overall feel is like that of the Warhound. (one of my clan favs) The title itself is killer, "Mecha of the Homeworld." (...) (20 years ago, 5-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Incredible Ohio Stadium Model!

For years my brother has been bugging me to build a scale model of Ohio Stadium. Today he forwarded me an email with several images attached. Apparently someone has already beat me to the punch!   Titanic

Hey everybody! Here is one of my recent creations, a 3 foot long version of the Titanic: (URL) was done for a client, and turned out pretty good. At least they were happy!   Re: Female humanoid; 4508 alternate

ok, wow, this is only made from the parts in the Titan XP? Sheeeeesh, you have a nack for making cool stuff from limited parts! Things I dig: * The head, neat how you made that. * The chest, heh heh. * The way those large solid canopy/slopes form (...)   MOC: 1000 piece big colored mess...

Hello All, I recently bought two of the 4679 tubs with bonus 500 piece boxes. I didn't do any of the carefull cataloging that has been going on, but did notice that of the "loose" non bagged pieces, one set had 4 baseplates and a 2x16? grey plate, (...)   Re: Female humanoid; 4508 alternate

(...) <SNIP> I guess this reply seems a little measly, but I really like the shoes. They add a lot to the model. Nice to see a large scale female mecha - there are few. Also, I had no idea the Titan XP set enabled one to build such large things - (...) (20 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.loc.nl, lugnet.space)
