It's true that many of them are heavily ornamental, but if you scour through some of the 20-odd different series, you can find more "military" looking mecha. Some of my favorites: Zeta (...) Robotech, man! :-, Then Go-Bots and Transformers (blech now), and Battletech later, though since early Battletech stole mucho from Robotech (which in turn stole mucho from Macross and Mospeda) I feel I can't really count that. I was just wondering what anime/manga everyone here is most inspired by when making their own creations. Personally, Gundam first started me in the idea of making Lego Mecha, but Evengelion is also shifting my interests into making more sleek/agile (...)   StarCraft: Terran Marine
 
I built a Terran Marine out of Lego. It is about the size of an average Lego Technic figure, although it uses to head of a Lego minifigure. I even built a Gauss Rifle for the Marine. My biggest complaint about the focus (and my only gripe about the Mavica) is that the pixelated screen on the back of the camera is insufficient in (...)
