  Re: Tanks or Power Armor

(...) I think so. Since a tank (I'm talking about real life MBTs, not hovertanks) is firmly situated on the ground, it is a more stable firing platform. Also, even if powersuits are eventually developed, I doubt that they will be able to carry the (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-04, to lugnet.off-topic.geek, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Tanks or Power Armor

(...) I think tanks will still remain useful as siege weapons, spearheading assaults, and general heavy battle. Power armor might be very useful for surgical strikes, and urban warfare. But in an open field, or over long distance, I think tanks will (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-04, to lugnet.off-topic.geek, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Tanks or Power Armor

Hello everyone. I was checking out (URL) Ryan Wood's Jade Empire Hong Hovertank post> and he mentions that we have seen little in ground combat vehicles other than (URL) power suit>. That got me thinking, when you have Power Suits available, should (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-04, to lugnet.off-topic.geek, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Adam Silcott's ALM-011

Thanks Eric, I was just about to delurk, honest! My name is Adam, and I've been building Lego mecha for years. I love the challenge. At the urging of Eric and others, I've been slowly starting to get more involved in the online community. As you can (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Adam Silcott's ALM-011

(...) Definitely Eric. I saw that mech and was hoping Adam would post here @ Lugnet. So If you are reading this Adam Welcome to lugnet.build.mecha! This is one of the best mecha I have seen taking into consideration that not a lot of detail is (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Definition of "micro"

(...) I hope minifig scale isn't quite 1:60. If my math is not way out of whack, I think that would mean that a minifig represents a 'real' person that's about seven and a half feet tall. :) I think, depending on who you talk to, minifig scale is (...)   Re: Belville Fig of Death

(...) Ok, that good. :) (...) Thanks! I wish I could, the size was based on the Kill Bill movie picture I found with google and it was small so I had to shrink the Belville Fig. :( And with a bigger picture one could more easily se my bad editing of (...)   Re: B.I. Joe Skyhawk

This isn't my favorite BIJoe model, but it's stil pretty cool. Neat decals as usual. Every little bit of playability you fit into your mocs is, I'm sure, the result of minutes/hours of tinkering with bricks. The engine swivel is pretty neat, in fact (...)
