Re: New MOC: "Crab" Tank Mecha

(...) :-O (...) Good, you paced yourself, so as to prevent a complete Sophie-freakout. (...) Thanks, I'm using a Nikon D70 Digital SLR Camera now... Meaning I finally have all the control I have longing for; shutter speed, aperature, focus, etc. I (...) (20 years ago, 20-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: wishin' on a BIG star

(...) Some cool parts!!! Glad someone agrees with the flower thingys ;) I'd also like: 1x3 tiles... such a pain to have to use a 1x2 and a 1x1 when there is no stud to attach the 1x1 to (for example tops of certain fences (spindled) etc). 1x2x2 (...)   Re: New MOCs: Bot contest entry and one other

(...) Soren, I gotta pass along another compliment. Instead of just being silly. The two main images for these creations are just phenomenal. I gotta say, the lighting, the MOCs, they are just beautiful. (2 URLs) Excellent. e (20 years ago, 19-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New MOC: "Crab" Tank Mecha

(...) There's like 79 cool things per square inch! Nay Stud! ok, I sat quietly, silently, and enjoyably looked through each picture. Quality pictures, as always, a given. Unussual design, as always, a given. Excellent blending of very cool pieces, a (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Eastern Block Mecha

(...) Hahaha. Beautifully comedic. The execution is very stylish. My only complaint is the lack of a bushy, waxed moustache. Soren (20 years ago, 19-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: De-lurk and New MOC

(...) Welcome! Oh so you made this one modular. Should be cool for interchangability. I recognize most of the parts, but I look forward to new pictures, I can't make out some of the details. Also, be sure to check the size that the camera is taking (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New MOC: "Crab" Tank Mecha

(...) It worked. How free is the movement on those autocannon-- do they tend to flop around, or are they pretty stable in train? (...) I don't know, you might be able to do something with the Technic Driving Ring Extension...in dark grey on the (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Botzor: Good and 3vil

(URL) Here I introduce the Botzors, which are just like Bots, but have a different name. Featured is the Sculptor-Bot, the Star Ranger RocketBot named "Roxor", another blue/grey bot that just looks cool, and Chromum, the 3vil sidekick of Jr.Marshal (...)   Re: New MOC: "Crab" Tank Mecha

(...) Thanks Soren! Yeah, I originally did think of an asymmetrical design but I knew I'd mess it up somehow. I like to keep things simple, so I always opt for symmetry. (...) Thanks again. (...) Well, I've noticed your use of colours nicely (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New MOC: "Crab" Tank Mecha

(...) Mmmm, I like it. Your usual attention to detail shows, the "icing" on this one is very nice. I think you missed the boat on the general shape though; this design begs for some asymmetry in weapons placement. Otherwise, a nice addition to your (...)   Re: New MOCs: Bot contest entry and one other

(...) Thanks. For some reason I've been feeling the urge to build small. (...) Maybe. Right now I'm thinking I'll just build an adapter for the cargo racks. Soren (20 years ago, 19-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Major Warbird Update **Updated**

Ok, I have updated the update with some more planes. go see it!!! I also want to throw in an idea: would the lugnet community (that means you) like to have a voice in what plane I'm building next?   Re: Eastern Block Mecha

(...) Excellent work yet again, this has attitude just standing there ! The different poses exhibit textbook EB personality, though with the rearview, you missed the chance for a 'Jennifer Love Hewitt patented over the shoulder moment.' Not that JLH (...)   Re: New MOC: "Crab" Tank Mecha

(...) Heh, this is why I love reading your replies LFB, you get the reasoning behind the design! Yes, the "head" was originally a dull block, until I started fiddling around trying to make it "sexier". :-) Too bad LEGO doesn't make pieces that are (...)   Re: Eastern Block Mecha

(...) Allister, you're on a roll lately. How tall is this mech (counting the hat of course)? It looks huge. Epaulets, overcoat buttons, the big hat, the granite jaw, the poses, there's just so much going on. Cool. If it's EB, though, it's going to (...)
