  Re: State of .mecha

(...) Ah, so you are the one responsible for Bigs Herc bay? Excellent work! (...) Although i am certain that this group will always accept mecha/mechs in any form, i think that many who build lego mechanized walkers tend to go with mecha, which (...)   Re: Mecha Fun

(...) What is your name? -Brayton Orchard How old are you? What does real life mean for you? -High school, soccer, etc. Favorite personal mecha MOC? -My favorite is always my newest MOC. Then I look back a couple months later and say, "Wow, what was (...) (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New MOCs

(...) No, he's whole. I should have posted a breakdown pic. (...) Thanks. I thought it was little chaotic. Soren (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military)

  Re: New MOCs

(...) Thanks. (...) Nope. I used this: (URL) with a 4x4 turntable and a couple macaroni bricks. (...) I'm happy with the effect. I really wish I could get those tires in something other than white (preferably gray of course). (...) Not quite sure (...) (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: New MOCs

(...) Thank you. An interior is forthcoming. (...) Thanks. I was just messing around, I'm kinda surprised by the way it turned out. Hmmm, it is a bit whalish. I didn't notice until you pointed it out. Soren (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military)

Re: New Mecha: "Centurion" Officer Mecha

(...) I'm not say they are crap. They work fine up to a certain scale, after that though, you have to either stiffen the ball-joints somehow (I don't like modding my parts), or find another joint system. (...) Thanks Dave! I understand what you're (...) (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: State of .mecha

As a builder myself I have an issue with the concept of this group focusing on the Japanese "MECHA" concept. In brief, I dont do designs of this type. I do designs that would more likely be called MECHS. In reality I don't do Mechs either, I do a (...) (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New MOCs

(...) Excellent! I really like the APC! It has a nice hefty shapem and I really like the greebles, and the front lip/cowl whatever you call it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but with the pieces that you used for the turret's base, there's no way that (...) (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: New Mecha: "Centurion" Officer Mecha

(...) Thanks Mr. Rabadan! I recall you building several handheld weapons for your hardsuits, so I know how you like weapons and stuff. :-) (...) Thanks again. (...) Ah...   Re: New Mecha: "Centurion" Officer Mecha

(...) Hello MP. My favorite part of this mecha has to be the weapons and the space thrusters addon. I cannot get enough of them. You really capture the weapons design and the purpose they serve. I also enjoyed what you did with the legs and the (...) (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Hardsuit

(...) Hey Brayton. I love seeing new hardsuits, especially with whole minifigs in them. It is very unique. The four arms are cool. I would really like to see some action shots to see how poseable the hardsuit is and also how the pilot (...) (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New MOCs

(...) Oh nice...the APC really has me. Is that a technic turntable for the turret? It's so simple, and beefy. I also quite like the fly wheels inside the wheel hubs. Probes. *shudder* Great stuff as usual Soren. Cheers, -Gil (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: New MOCs

I love the APC: it's beautiful. It has a great System look. I look foward to seeing the interior—it would definitely be worth the effort working one out. The color scheme of the robriq is really cool. The shape reminds me of a whale. Nice builds. (...) (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: Hardsuit

(...) Soren, I agree with you that the shoulders need bulking up. However, there is so little space between the two arms that even a 1 x 1 plate would destroy some of its posability. If you can think of a way around this, I'd love to hear about it. (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New MOCs

(...) Thank you. Would you like a larger pic? I'll color-correct it, I usually don't bother but I can :). Soren (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  New MOCs

Two tasty dishes on the menu this time. First, more Ceti military hardware. (Centralist majority in Council, you know, and Defense is their baby).<*> (URL) No interior yet, I just can't get anything that works. And a probe Robriq. (URL) Yes Jon, I (...)   Re: Hardsuit

Very nice. I love it when someone posts a model and I have no clue how it goes together. If we can both make Brickfest let's have a hardsuit sumo match :). The only thing that bothers me is the shoulders, I think they could use a bit of bulking up. (...) (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Hardsuit

(...) Criticism? No chance of that from me on this model. This is simply one of the coolest looking hardsuits I've ever seen and the four arm interpretation of the hardsuit is just obscenely sweet! Further proof that color isn't everything. (...) (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
