Build new Moonbases for Brick Fest. #5. Build Drop Ship ok, I'm set. This is very cool, (...) (20 years ago, 4-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: LEGO Mosaic: Fort Worth Skyline

(...) Wow, another great city captured in Lego. I found this one a little different though. I think I like the black and white cityscapes a little better. It could have just been the outdoor lighting that threw me off but I like the way you don't (...) (20 years ago, 4-May-04, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

  LEGO Mosaic: Fort Worth Skyline

Hi folks, I spent this past weekend in Fort Worth, Texas at their 'Mayfest' celebration building a large, color LEGO mosaic of their city's skyline. I have a full write up here: (URL) I'm trying to gather links to all LEGO skyline mosaics completed (...)   Re: camiao contrabandistas

Some really nice SNOT work, great details and great 'playability' in this MOC, I really like the cab with the opening bonnet and the triangular doors. Look foward to seeing more. Cross posted to .town and .schleim for more visiblity tim (20 years ago, 4-May-04, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.town)

  Re: Coupe/ Cabrio car

(...) They don't make these new panels in metallic green (aka pea soup puke green) - yet. And N says he built the car using only 8458 and 8466. When they were current panels #20-23 don't exist yet. <opinion> Anyways he's leagues above us mere (...) (20 years ago, 4-May-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.loc.nl, lugnet.technic)

Re: A way to get dirtside when driving a light mech

(...) Thanks for the response! I agree about the body-to-cockpit transition. When I build a dropship, I start with the cargo area, because the internal space requirement and my parts inventory are the only binding constraints. (Luckily, we Lego (...)   Re: Igor Last Quest (or my entry for the Booby Trap Contest)

(...) I keep going back and watching this. There's something about how fast the ax chops and then the clean sweep of the floor that makes me laugh out loud. Well done. Felix (20 years ago, 3-May-04, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.robotics.rcx, FTX)

  Re: New Builder, New Mecha!

Thanks everyone so far for the replies! My two downfalls are lack of new parts and lack of ball joints (and all of the bricks required to make them work, such as those 1x2's with the "+" holes...just WHERE do you find those?). The elbow joint sucks, (...) (20 years ago, 3-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: A way to get dirtside when driving a light mech

You have improved, and I mean it in a good way ;) I thought your first dropship was way cool, and I was really impressed by it, this ship is much more detailed than the previous one, and its shape is smoother, except for in front; the (...) (20 years ago, 3-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Igor Last Quest (or my entry for the Booby Trap Contest)

(...) Fun! I like the double whammy of both the ax and then the removal floor. All you need now is someone to come around and clean the blood (do lego's bleed?) from the floor for the trap to be reset. Sliding trapdoor instead of a breakaway one is (...)   Re: New Builder, New Mecha!

Welcome to .mecha! Very nice. Cool shape, cool joints, cool SNOT. I'm not blown away, I'll admit, but I am going to bookmark this and study it in depth later. Might even make a printout for my Ideas folder. Looking forward to your next! Soren (20 years ago, 3-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

A way to get dirtside when driving a light mech

Have a look, if you like, at my small dropship (click the pic for the gallery): (URL) It hauls three light mechs and fields two banks of naval missles, two long range missle racks, a pair of mass drivers, and two point-defense lasers.   Re: New Builder, New Mecha!

Hey, I spotted this on Brickshelf earlier. Nice mech! I like the shape, and very tricky joint work. It looks like it packs the details of a very large machine into a smaller package. Not that I build totally studless myself, but it looks like there (...) (20 years ago, 3-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New Builder, New Mecha!

(...) wierd angles of bricks is downright awesome (I love the wedge plates on the chest!) It looks sleek, but not so sleek that it couldn't be a grungy weapon of war. The head is basic, yet it looks 100% mech-ish The torso has tons of detail, but (...) (20 years ago, 3-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

The Last GeeBee Thread, I Swear -- Photos.

Whew, I can finally update. Long weekend. So I said I would post progress pics and a full description, and here they are: I planned a full build - that is, I would build the entire thing from the ground up.   New Builder, New Mecha!

Hi everyone!
