Hi everyone! After lurking for a GOOD WHILE and appreciating all of the
fantastic creations, I finally snagged a digital camera over the weekend (sony
Cyber-shot, works like a charm) and took some pics of my Arbalest.

Hey, I spotted this on Brickshelf earlier. Nice mech! I like the shape, and very tricky joint work. It looks like it packs the details of a very large machine into a smaller package. Not that I build totally studless myself, but it looks like there (...) (20 years ago, 3-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) wierd angles of bricks is downright awesome (I love the wedge plates on the chest!) It looks sleek, but not so sleek that it couldn't be a grungy weapon of war. The head is basic, yet it looks 100% mech-ish The torso has tons of detail, but (...) (20 years ago, 3-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Welcome to .mecha! Very nice. Cool shape, cool joints, cool SNOT. I'm not blown away, I'll admit, but I am going to bookmark this and study it in depth later. Might even make a printout for my Ideas folder. Looking forward to your next! Soren (20 years ago, 3-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

this is a real tasty piece of business here! i am particularly fond of the torso/abdominal region with the curved sections set at an angle above the waist. i'm also diggin' the shoulder pieces! i'm just sort of learning how to build with SNOT so i'm (...)
