  Motorized Tank

For you viewing pleasure: (URL) (Click the image, feel the love.) Originally, this was going to be a static model, but after some internal measurements I realized it would be the perfect model to motorize. Only the turret traverse is powered for (...)   Re: C-55 Mobile "Spider" Platform

Apart from the forward guns, this one doesn't do it for me. The legs seem comically thin, and the main body is kind of bland. Not to say that the design is garbage, just needs some refinement. Maybe if you took the turret off the top, bulked up the (...) (20 years ago, 30-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: MOC::Crimson Knight

(...) Just to head off a long argument, most of us are busy with our real lives. It may not have anything to do with our interest/disinerest in other people's MOCs. I know I've been busy. It happens. Also, a lot of mechers tend to post only to the (...) (20 years ago, 30-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: C-55 Mobile "Spider" Platform

Hi, VERY nice model.I really like the "bristling with guns" look. ALl of those cannons poking out really make it seem more insectoid. The color scheme looks very military-ish and the guns are pretty detailed as well. My only gripe is that the body (...) (20 years ago, 29-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) bionicle creations, as they all look the same to me, but this one looks different. However, i would still classify this as 'Bionicle" and not mecha. I say this beacuse that is my view of mecha, although not necessarily everyone elses. I really (...) (20 years ago, 29-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Text in walls

(...) I'd leave the old 'M' in as an alternative. Also the 'W' done the same way, but upside down. A 'T' done this way only takes up three vertical plates, rather than six. Doing 4-stud-high lettering, I found that you only had to change the design (...) (20 years ago, 29-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.build.mosaic, lugnet.build, FTX)

  First Post and MOCs...

As you can probably guess, I'm a lil' new to posting...I've been lurking around Lugnet for a few years now, but only recently have I ever been satisfied enough with what I had to bring to the table to actually sign-up to post... Congratulations on the gig, and it's clear from these pictures that it's well deserved. It's very refreshing to see such a well executed 'pure-brick' design. You make us proud to have you in our midst. Keep building! Peace and bricks, Professor (...) (20 years ago, 29-Apr-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.loc.us.mi, FTX)

(...) Very nicely done. The shape is excellent and looks very substantial. Are you going to rebuild the whole thing from scratch at the show? That's a pretty tall order if you are. Or are you just going to partially disassemble this one and rebuild (...) (20 years ago, 29-Apr-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.loc.us.mi, FTX)

(...) Wow, that's a great model. The colors are awesome, and it looks like it pretty much only uses basic bricks. Very cool. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the pictures and commentary. Derek (20 years ago, 29-Apr-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.loc.us.mi, FTX)

  C-55 Mobile "Spider" Platform

Hi. This is my first attempt at building a multiped mecha. Designed to meet the needs of the police as to combat the new threat of cyborg/landmate related crimes.
