  Re: zemi.net

(...) Most images are centered enough that cropping an eighth off either side won't clip a significant part of the picture. You could also do more abstract thumbs that use only a small portion of the image, but then you would need some descriptions (...)   Re: Casting Satan and Jesus for The Brick Testament

(...) Speaking of that, my first thought was to cast Derek Schin's mom, but Keith Goldman wouldn't give her up for even one weekend, so I had to come up with a new approach. (...)   Re: Satan Tempts Jesus

(...) Thanks, Jason. I didn't get around to posting my praise, but let me say here that I loved your SNOT delivery truck. Ingenius design. (...) Thanks for the tip. I will try that out next time the Bible calls for a wolf. -Brendan (20 years ago, 14-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  lotsa new (microscale) MOCs

I did these over the past few days: I made 5 MOCs simultaneously using all the pieces in set 4096 Micro Wheels: 1st, a tanker truck: (6 URLs) I was going to stop there, but wanted to make another MOC & this sport coupe is the result: (5 URLs) after (...)   Re: zemi.net

(...) Site looks great - nice job by Kyle and yourself. Good to finally have a solid face for an seemingly ever-changing site. :-) Side note: Looking thru all the contest entries was tre cool.   Re: zemi.net

(...) Well, that's because that is exactly what we did. Jon wanted small, square thumbs. Since they were so small we figured the distortion wouldn't be that bad, compared to simply clipping the image. (This is all automatic of course. So cropping on (...)   Curator for sculpture group?

It seems that there isn't a curator for sculpture... if nobody wants to do it, I'd be willing... (20 years ago, 13-Apr-04, to lugnet.admin.curators, lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

Re: New sculptures: Santa Claus bust and Leprechaun

(...) Thanks for the feedback! I agree about the red cheeks, but it looks worse without them, and Santa has to have rosy cheeks! I build most of my sculptures using only bricks from the 3033 tub (r.i.p.) so pink is not an option. You'll also notice (...) (20 years ago, 13-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  Re: side bar

Re: Casting Satan and Jesus for The Brick Testament

(...) I'm not sure there's that much of a need for a separate Brick Testament newsgroup, but then again, I wouldn't turn it down. Would it just be a sub-group of .announce, like the ones for biportal, bimp, and brickmedia, etc.? Or a sub-group of (...) (20 years ago, 13-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)
