  Flettner FL282 Kolibri

Hi everyone Here is my latest MOC, the Flettner FL282 Kolibri helicopter from the 1940's. I wanted a helicopter that fit with the "Adventurers" theme and I found the Kolibri on the internet under "1940's helicopter" - simple really. Apart from the (...)   Re: PP 1444 X, my P-38 contest entry (and build notes)

(...) Thank you kindly, Gil. I've always admired your work, but I don't know if I've had the opportunity to say so. So, there it is. Speaking of 'departure', those 1x6x6 slopes have an infuriating tendency to leap off of their point of attachment at (...) (21 years ago, 7-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

  Re: Satan Tempts Jesus

Excellent again. I love the fact that I'm never quite sure what to think of this, but the modelling is always brilliant. I love the attention to detail, and I'm always trying to pick out the right expression for my minifigs. (...) I must admit the (...) (21 years ago, 7-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  Mark V Tank

This is one of my favorite tanks, the Mark V tank. It has room for a driver, and 2 gunners who operate the side cannon. It also has a hatch on the top, and a machine gun, mounted on the top. I apologize for the picture qualaty, my camera can't take (...) (21 years ago, 7-Apr-04, to lugnet.build)

Casting Satan and Jesus for The Brick Testament

(...) Please do. (...) Thanks for saying so, Terry. (...) No matter what sort of visage I chose for Satan in The Brick Testament, I knew that it would not please everybody. Choosing a Satan was a lot trickier than choosing, say, Jesus or God, (...) (21 years ago, 7-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX) !

  Re: The SNOT strikes back!

I got a 'page not found' the first time I tried it (IE6), I think the redirect failed. Second time 10 seconds later was OK tho. Tim (21 years ago, 7-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Re: Harry Potter: 4756 Shrieking Shack: Lego Figure Transformer

A single piece structure with a secret compartment for holding a minifig. You put it over another minifig, press the control on top, and it swaps them over.   Re: Satan Tempts Jesus

(...) Not too long after putting the new material online, I got an e-mail from somebody asking "why does Satan always eneter from the rear?" I don't know if I have the qualifications to answer a theological question like that. (...) Thanks, Dave. (...) (21 years ago, 7-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)

(...) Thanks, Bruce. (...) He is sort of blocky, isn't he? I may have to figure out a redesign for the wolf. (...) I'm not sure I can do any better on the duck. @8^) (...) Thanks. I really like this one too. I especially like the curved wall and the way you did the roof (I'm going to borrow that design idea sometime). The two-level effect is very cool, too. Bruce (21 years ago, 6-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

Great stuff as always, Brendan. (...) I like the wolf. For some reason that design looks more blocky when the wolf is standing, but in this reposed position the blockyness is minimized.
