  Re: 3vil Chopper

(...) Very nice space-bike. How did you do the engines? i dont quite know what piece that is, it looks like a ball pin stuck in a black minifig's head? Veddy nice. -Jr.Marshal (21 years ago, 21-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  3vil Chopper

As you might have noticed, I've been away. The multi-system uprising in sector 459w required my attention. But not to worry, it has been squished. (URL) You may resume the fear and loathing.   new mecha

here's a mech I made with only the pieces in designer set 4100 Maximum wheels-I started with the head & decided to try to builkd a mech for it, an make it as poseable as possible with the pices in the set. I used a lot of basic stud-friction joints (...) (21 years ago, 21-Mar-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: Neptune's Moon Lagoon

(...) I totally got a kick out of this. Well done. I identify with the kid who got his sand-castle kicked over :( And to those who say you can't have a pool in space (Manfred) or that you can't wear a speedo in space, I say HOGWASH! The advances in (...) (21 years ago, 21-Mar-04, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Some small Sunday MOC - Singer

(...) Great model! I'm going to make one of these for my wife, and I was wondering ... How did you get the lattice connected to the plates on the bottom? Do you have a ldr file? The Thug. (21 years ago, 21-Mar-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: StarScoot

(...) Hi Tom, It's really tiny, where can I get one? Beats going to work on my bike every day. :-) Dirk (21 years ago, 21-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: **New MOC**

(...) Jon + Adrian - thanks for the comments! I'm glad you found the mech(s) interesting. It's good to get feedback, especially from other builders whose work I like ;) ->.   Re: Neptune's Moon Lagoon

(...) I built it more as absurdist comedic piece, since there are clearly more things wrong about it than there are right. Cartoon physics applies, so the water doesn't boil away, exposed skin isn't desicated (though I did originally plan to have (...)   Re: Neptune's Moon Lagoon

Well, since the pool works in a vacuum, the water must be contantly boiling out into space, and with an astonishingly fast rate too. You've modelled this effect nicly with the studs on the trans dark blue plates :-) With friendly greetings, M. (...)   Re: new moc: TS-1 Vanguard

(...) yes! yes! thanks for noticing the hands. i can't remember if i saw them before or if i just thought of them myself. the idea is so simple,i am not surprised that others have (...)   Re: new moc: TS-1 Vanguard

(...) i am also pleased with the scale. it is easy to work with in terms of joints and posing. (...) i am a big weapon fan, as you may have known. the folding cannon used to be a rocket launcher, but i liked the "tank turret" look better. i had to (...) (...) of it make it look tough & realistic. the 1x1 clips & 1x2 plate with bar for joints & hands is something that i recently have been toying with; it's cool to see others have discovered it too & put it to good use! great job! Jeff (21 years ago, 20-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: new moc: TS-1 Vanguard

(...) Weapons are great. Both the fold-away weapon sytem and the submachine gun are a good touch. After seen your MOC I am convinced to start a new line of mecha. I have been thinking about it for a while now but I wanted to finish a star fighter (...) (21 years ago, 20-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: new moc: TS-1 Vanguard

(...) I really like this MOC, it's refreshing to see such a no-nonsense, well proportioned mecha. The lack of head is nice too, as it lets you experiment with new weapon positions. I also prefer those types of blocky fingers to the amorphous, and (...) (21 years ago, 20-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  new moc: TS-1 Vanguard

i'd like to intruduce to you the TS-1 Vanguard. this is the smallest scale mecha i've made to date, but it has one important thing--an actual driver!! inspiration came from mecha by jun nishizawa and soren roberts' landmates. needless to say, (...)   Neptune's Moon Lagoon

This is my first Moonbase module. It's also my biggest MOC since...well, probably ever (I had a reasonably large collection as a child, but most of it was bright colors that didn't fit with Space or Castle very well). I detailed most of the gags in (...) (21 years ago, 20-Mar-04, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.fun, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX)
