  Re: Grecian Urn

(...) from (...) I used anything that came in the standard tubs and buckets, so that would be both 1x's and 2x's. The picture showing the 3 parts also shows reasonably well the alignment pieces that aid in mating the top and bottom to the middle. (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.build)

(...) from (...) Great! I'm happy to leave the SW building to others and work on more novel things. (...) The vision of a blue and white one had previously flashed through my mind, but the barber pole stripe pattern looked odd. (...) Actually, (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: 4x4x3 cone! (was: Re: Reference Site Inconsistencies)

(...) Yup I've just checked it (I have two of the cones from the 725 freight train) (URL) the cone is three bricks tall, the size 4x4x3 is correct. -Frank (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.build)

(...) I do, but it's back at my mom's house in the SF Bay Area, and I'm here in sunny Cambridge, MA. If memory serves, it is indeed three bricks tall. It's a cool piece, and I'm surprised TLC has never brought it back, since they seem to have a (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.build)

4x4x3 cone! (was: Re: Reference Site Inconsistencies)

(...) Whoa! Wow! (URL) learn somethin' new about LEGO every day! :) --Todd p.s. Question: Was it really 3 standard bricks tall (most likely) or perchance was it just shy or just over 3 tall? Anyone got one for real? (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.build)

  Re: Grecian Urn

Hi Brian :) Looks great! for the most part you used only 2x4 bricks? I see 1x's in the pic with the 3 parts are they just for stability? I'm always amazed when I see "square" bricks making a circular creation! 2x4 bricks seem to be what I lack most (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.build)

(...) ~ah! it's beautiful! thanks for all of the details and building tips! i'm very inspired now! are you going to make a blue and white one with what's left of those buckets, maybe? "say..how much does this grecian urn?" ~sorry. i just had to get (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: Dejuniorization of 6464 Super Rescue Complex Project

(...) You've got the right idea here, and unfortunately TLC has once again passed on to the builder the responsibility for fixing the problems with their models. These kits should come with a "punch list" in the instructions that has everything (...) (25 years ago, 5-Jan-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.town)
