  Technic scale bike fun

While Bram was at my house building his II-Blade, I set to work on my first Technic Fig scale bike. Ostensibly it's a turbocycle, and part of my turbocycle league. However, it's more of a miniland or techic model by scale, and town by theme. It's a (...) (21 years ago, 19-Oct-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: is something burning?

(...) Very nice, it definitely made me laugh. Now, bonus points if you can motorize the wings so they flap... *grin* JohnG, GMLTC fut .build.sculpture (just to reduce redundancy...) (21 years ago, 19-Oct-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.sculpture)

  New MOC: II-Blade

I went over to Adrian's house today and took advantage of his collection being 5 times bigger than mine to build my first dark gray MOC. This time, the ship does have controls: (3 URLs) II-Blade> I especially like the way the rear of the ship turned (...)   is something burning?

(URL) (after moderation) Notes: the entire body is built studs-frontward and studs-backward. I tried to disguise the seam connecting the halves by not making it straight... it kinda worked. the wings are not very well connected to the body, and tend (...)   Re: Batch of modular mecha and mecha parts!

Thanks for the feedback. What i was trying to do with the modular mech idea was exactly what you said, allow freedom to customize models based on what they can carry.I am trying to make each new part different from the others. For example, when i (...) (21 years ago, 18-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Rensselaer Troy Building

(...) Yes, I see what you mean. Sorry, I am not very well versed in actual architecture terms, thoa I suppose I will be learning as I continue to build! Anyway, at the top of the column are 4 1x1 headlight bricks--two facing out and 2 facing in. (...) (21 years ago, 18-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: MICV MOC

Hi Magnus- I like this vehicle a lot. You definately captured the look and feel of typical IFV's. There's some nice work with hinges and such to create the angled armor panels, and the turret is well done, too. (I like the rocket launcher (...) (21 years ago, 18-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.military)

  New MOC: Disc Racer

I took a break from studying midterms to build a small ship, somewhat inspired by an </space/?n=27080 idea> I posted in August.   Re: Batch of modular mecha and mecha parts!

Hi, Great work there... I like the Deus mech in particular. The Wolf Legs are awsome! I don't mind sacrificing some manouvrability for armour, seems like a fair swap in my opinion, especially when it looks so good, (Crust legs!) I really like the (...)   Count Dooku Star Wars UCS Miniland Scale Figure and Speeder MOCs

Here's a link to a separate page I made for his pictures: (URL) My good friend, Count Dooku> This is the first vehicle MOC I've done for accuracy (the transforming x-wing was more just to see if I could get it to turn into a robot).   New MOC: Don Vito

I've been wanting to do a bust of The Godfather for a while. This evening it just sort of flowed out of me all at once. Let me know what you think...!   Re: Rensselar Troy Building

(...) The capital is the top of the column. It looks kind of like a bracket where 1x2 plate has two side thingies offset at an angle, plus round plates on those.. never used it before, I'm guessing at what I'm seeing there. (21 years ago, 17-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: Rensselar Troy Building

(...) Yea, it did. :) I hear it is much better in most of the buildings now. There has been significant renovations all over campus. Its like a completely different school. (...)   BioniWars Death SToar Gunner

I can understand the logic behind the visor design, and maybe even the reason for having just the front of the torso armored...but what the heck was the purpose of the large protrusion on the back of these guys' helmets?   Batch of modular mecha and mecha parts!

A few weeks ago i sprung an idea to do a mecha idea similar to moonbase using modular mecha parts. Well, here are some parts i made, using my Argos mech as a base i built a new set of arms, 2 new sets of legs, and a new head. I also put together 2 (...) Hey, awesome! Troy building! Can you make some of the windows opening? Troy building used to get hot in September... What's the piece on the front of the capital? (One piece offset plate or multiple pieces?) -Erik CSYS '94 (21 years ago, 17-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: Rensselar Troy Building

(...) Sure. Those are actually 1x2 red tiles attached to two black 1x1 headlight bricks. I used black so that I could get a bit more contrast. (...) Oh that is a cool photo.
