  Re: Stefan Vorst's zoo

Hi Bruce, Thanks for posting this. At least the lion gives me some ideas of how to make small tiger sculptures :) I really like the birds and the snakes too. The only ones that I'm not sure of are the camel (ewww. it's taking a dump), and the lion (...) (21 years ago, 7-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Re: New MOC: Little Dogbert

It's very cute. Have you tried using these for eyes? (URL) not sure if it's too big, but you can also try round plates? (URL) good. Helps keep the evil catbert anyway :) -Anne (...) (21 years ago, 7-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Stefan Vorst's zoo

Hi all, I don't think he posts here any more, so I'll highlight Stefan Vorst's zoo: (URL) favorite is the lion, but the solution for the head on that ostrich is ingenious. I wonder how well it holds. Bruce (21 years ago, 7-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Re: it's finally here!

(...) ah,yes...the spine. i originally had a pic of the back of the spine w/othe grey pieces, but i had to remove it because brickshelf made that pic the cover of the whole file. anyways, on the opposite side of the ball joints, i ran a stiff, but (...)   Re: Black Mamba Mk II

(...) alright! alright! don't shoot my eva--i don't have weapons for it yet!. ok..i can see why you named your latest behemoth "black mamba". the arms look very snake-like. how did you achieve that? dig that color scheme, too as well as your (...) (21 years ago, 7-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New MOC: Little Dogbert

Very cute. Great to sit next to your computer and banish the evil demons of stupidity. My only issue is that I agree with you that the eyes aren't right. I can't think of a good alternative at that scale, though. Bruce (21 years ago, 7-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Re: Pneumatic/Motorized Camera Tilt Unit

(...) [snip] (...) My bad. (...) I would think that you can easily do it with one motor for the front, one motor for the back (greatest flexibility. You'll have to use the other variety motor to rotate the turntable. (...) Fun, eh? [snip] (...) The (...) (21 years ago, 7-Oct-03, to lugnet.animation, lugnet.build, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Pneumatic/Motorized Camera Tilt Unit

(...) No, if you look at the photos you'll see that each piston is joined above the platform. It's not the best system because of the lower power you achieve with retraction versus extension, but it works best when you're trying to keep everything (...)   Re: Pneumatic Camera Tilt Unit

(...) [snip] (...) Your original system had the pistons underneath the platform, right? You must be assuming that the ganged pistons would be underneath. This is not a requirement. I'm not advocating for ganged pistons. I'd think that a geared (...) (21 years ago, 7-Oct-03, to lugnet.animation, lugnet.build, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Projects

Hej Tobbe The Gripen sounds like a challenge! And of course the ISD is a major investment. I once borrowed a series of detailed technical drawings of Swedish military planes from the library, can't remember the author but they had a yellow cover. (...)
