  Advent Calendar Fun!

I ran out and bought a copy of the 1298 Advent Calendar tonight ('cos it's Dec. 1). Anyway, I thought it might be fun to post some silly pics of alternate models I made from the Dec. 1 set bag. I hope to build three or four alternates from each (...) (25 years ago, 2-Dec-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

  Re: Household uses for LEGO

I built some shelves and a working phone out of Lego. I bought a regular phone, gutted it, and re-built it out of Lego. It works just fine. It isn't all that comfortable against the ear though, I have some re-designing to do. Silas Ed Jones wrote in (...) (25 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: My dream about lego

(...) Rachel, it sounds like you might have a Dutch/Belgian or Danish version of the wooden box set. They had the sliding top box tob wooden box sets in the 1960's.   4940 Granite Grinder Modification

This may have been posted before as it seems an obvious fix to the 4940 Granite Grinder model. I just got this set last week and after building it could not understand why Lego omitted a crank to turn the large drill. It's a simple fix - another (...)
