Re: New MOC: 4-foot tall LEGO Homer Simpson sculpture

I ran into the exact same trouble when building the eyes for my Bart Simpson. Trying to translate from 2-D to 3-D is very difficult, and you must just find the best compromise. eric (...) (21 years ago, 30-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

Yes, it was difficult trying to come up with a design that I liked because of two reasons: First, as you mentioned, he doesn't always look the same from season to season or even scene to scene. (...) Very very cool. That's one of those things that I've always wanted to build, but never got around to it. Building large sculptures is a difficult art, and it's great to see others doing it. Adrian (URL) (21 years ago, 30-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

Re: New MOC: 4-foot tall LEGO Homer Simpson sculpture

Very nice! But I have to agree to te reviewer at MOCPages that the eyes are a tad large. However, having seen the intro sequence frame by frame I know they can be even bigger in the show - so. Nice hair! (21 years ago, 30-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

Nute Gunray Star Wars Miniland Scale Figure

He's green, wrinkly, talks kinda' funny, sometimes uses a moving chair to get around instead of walking, and is a prominent character in Star Wars Episodes One and Two. Nope, he's not Yoda.
